St. Louis Blues History

Named for the famous W.C. Handy song "Saint Louis Blues," the Blues is one of the most storied franchises in the NHL. They entered the league in 1967 as one of the Original Six, making the Stanley Cup Finals in each of their first three seasons. They reached the Playoffs in 25 consecutive seasons from 1980 to 2005, including in 1999-2000, when right wing Pavol Demitra and defensemen Al MacInnis led the way to a league-best 114 points, only to be upset by the San Jose Sharks in the first round of the Playoffs.

Recent history has provided its share of fireworks. Most memorable: Troy Brouwer's deciding goal in Game 7 of the 2016 Western Conference quarterfinals against the rival Blackhawks, which sent the Blues to the Western Conference Finals for the first time in 15 years.

In 2018-2019, the Blues went on an impressive Playoff run to meet the Boston Bruins in the Stanley Cup Final, where St. Louis won in seven games for the team's first Cup in franchise history.

St. Louis Blues at Enterprise Center

Enterprise Center is located in the heart of downtown St. Louis. The 12-story glass and concrete structure officially opened its doors on October 8, 1994, and has been the home ice for the Blues ever since. In 2018, the venue underwent renovations, including additions to the food and beverage options, new gathering spaces for fans to enjoy during pregame, intermissions and postgame, and a better shopping experience for fans to take home all their new Blues gear. Enterprise Center is located on the former site of Kiel Auditorium, which was built in 1932 as a municipal auditorium for the citizens of St. Louis.

    Awesome....despite the outcome

by Tonya S. on 5/31/22Enterprise Center - St Louis

I love the fact that I can check out tickets available and order them last minute and have a great experience. The only thing I was disappointed about was that the Blues lost. Bummer.

Need more bathrooms, less DJ crap

by Awesome X on 5/18/22Enterprise Center - St Louis

Love attending games and decided to save some money by getting seats in 300s on the end. Unlike lower seating there’s no possibility to negotiate the long bathroom lines, grab a drink and be back in your seat before the puck drops again. And the new music guy needs to take it down a peg. Is it absolutely necessary for some rap/classic rock hybrid anytime there’s a stoppage in play? And it’s ridiculously louder than what I remember from his predecessor.

    Playoff Hockey

by Shibs410 on 5/11/22Enterprise Center - St Louis

The seats were in the second to last row which I thought would be awful but it was amazing. The fans are so excited in that area and there is not a bad seat in the place!! Excellent experience

    Blues Game 3 - 1st Round

by Jimmy on 5/10/22Enterprise Center - St Louis

Great selection of food and drink. Need more toilets/urinals. Music during play stoppages way too loud and intrusive - sometimes it's okay to just have crowd noise, you don't have to fill every single moment with manufactured entertainment.

    Great time, good venue

by Departing Contestant on 5/2/22Enterprise Center - St Louis

Lots of close parking (get there early!), Easy access into the arena, lots of help getting to our seats, lots of options for dining and beer. Usual complaint, seats WAY to tight. My knees were against the seat in front of me and difficult to pass by people in the row. It is loud, not nascar loud, but I wish I had my ear plugs

    First time all inclusive

by Aharnden1002 on 5/2/22Enterprise Center - St Louis

This is the first time Ive ever had all inclusive tickets. The game was so much fun even tho we lost. And the staff everywhere was very helpful between finding my seat and helping find all inclusive area.

    Blues - Wild

by Sig on 4/21/22Enterprise Center - St Louis

It was a great game but unfortunately the Blues blew a 4 - 1 lead and wound up tied 5 -5 at the end of regulation. Won in overtime. Had a great seat behind the goal the Blues attacked twice. Really good day.

    Ticketmaster Hi-Jinx

by Roadkill on 4/19/22Enterprise Center - St Louis

Tried to buy 2 seats for Blues game. 3 seats available but ticketmaster would not permit me to buy just 2. So I figured i would purchase 2 single tickets. WRONG! They let me purchase 1 ticket, and then would not let me buy 1 other ticket. There were a few single seats in the section I bought, but had to get the wife a separate seat 12 rows behind mine (Or tell her she no go!). Not happy about the hi-jinx, had to sit apart.

    Not easy for smokers.

by Mo on 3/21/22Enterprise Center - St Louis

Great game but my husband is a smoker and because the tickets were on my phone he was not able to leave the building to smoke. I tried transferring a ticket to his phone, taking a screenshot, and he even signed into our Ticketmaster account but the venue did not accept any of these options for exit and re-entry. I offered to give him my phone but by that point it was more the principle of the issue than the cigarette.

    Great Hockey Night

by Crosby Girl on 3/20/22Enterprise Center - St Louis

Great Night! We unexpectedly sat next to Saad's wife. She noticed we cheered when Pittsburgh scored and asked us if we were from Pittsburgh. We are and learned that she and I both graduated from the University of Pittsburgh and her mom went to Slippery Rock University which is my husband's alma mater. She could not have been nicer! Great crowd and loved all the jumbo screen entertainment and crowd participation. Thanks for a great night!

    Ticketing was easy

by Rainbow Sprinkles on 3/16/22Enterprise Center - St Louis

I did compare prices with different apps/online POP, and went with Ticketmaster as they seemed to have seats we could afford in areas that were good. They are very thorough and communicative after purchase. Using the app for tickets at venue was easy also. I transferred tickets and as long as a user knows they need their own Ticketmaster account, then it should go smoothly. I did end up cancelling the transfer of two tickets as they didn’t have an account and we were rushed for time. We all went to the game together so it was fine that I had everyone’s ticket. Have been a long time customer and would recommend.

    Blues game was terrific.

by Paco on 2/15/22Enterprise Center - St Louis

I usually buy partial season tickets, like rivalries, week ends, etc. Did not because of Covid. I have been buying individual tickets last and this year. I enjoyed the seats that I have gotten. The whole experience, from purchase to entry to games, to leaving, all an easy and enjoyable experience. My only disappointment was in purchasing parking ahead of time. Too far away for me. I like my ticket on my phone. Love the venue, the ease of entry, etc. Have tickets through Ticketmaster in March.

This was our 1st Blues game & we are ready to go again! The Blues fans are such a cool community and of course the players are insanely talented! And there just isn't a bad seat in the house at the Enterprise Center. Thanks so much for a great experience....we'll be back :)

    Hockey Night

by Moose on 1/18/22Enterprise Center - St Louis

I went all out and bought a $335 ticket..It was an all inclusive ticket. Being my first time. I had no idea what to expect and surely was not told about what I could do or not do. Had to find out from another fan on how the inclusive thing worked. So I didnt get to take advantage of what I should have been able to. When checking in,, they should inquire knowing what my seat was. On another note. Being from Canada,,love my hockey. Past ST Louis goalie Jake Allen and I are from the same city in NB,Canada. Always loved the Blues growing up. Long history with the NHL.The people and fans of ST Louis treated us Toronto Fans very well. Thank you to all of you. Had a great time and the game was awesome. Lots of talent on both teams
