St. Louis Blues History

Named for the famous W.C. Handy song "Saint Louis Blues," the Blues is one of the most storied franchises in the NHL. They entered the league in 1967, making the Stanley Cup Final in each of their first three seasons. They reached the Playoffs in 25 consecutive seasons from 1980 to 2005, including in 1999-2000, when right wing Pavol Demitra and defensemen Al MacInnis led the way to a league-best 114 points, only to be upset by the San Jose Sharks in the first round of the Playoffs.

Recent history has provided its share of fireworks. Most memorable: Troy Brouwer's deciding goal in Game 7 of the 2016 Western Conference quarterfinals against the rival Blackhawks, which sent the Blues to the Western Conference Finals for the first time in 15 years.

In 2018-2019, the Blues went on an impressive Playoff run to meet the Boston Bruins in the Stanley Cup Final, where St. Louis won in seven games for the team's first Cup in franchise history.

  • Glass seats are a great way to enjoy Blues hockey

    by Jerry13 on 10/31/16Scottrade Center - St LouisRating: 4 out of 5

Glass seats (first 4 rows from the action) are a great way to enjoy Blues hockey. Paired with the dinner buffet and beverage package; its a great way to enjoy the energy of the crowd and the game.

We witnessed a fantastic game two rows behind the bench. I highly recommend that you see at least one game in your life from so close to the action.

  • We all bleed Blue!

If you want to experience an incredibly patriotic, action-packed, fun filled night - go to a Blues game. From the great seats (as advertised on Ticketmaster), to the entire arena singing the National Anthem, to the great game played by the Blues (even though we lost), watching the Blues play at Scottrade Center is AWESOME! Glass seats also get you access to free drinks and food ALL GAME LONG, so don't forget to take that into consideration when you're purchasing tickets that seem a little more expensive. TOTALLY WORTH IT!

  • Almost ALWAYS a treat, except...

by MrMocurmudgeon on 10/30/16Scottrade Center - St LouisRating: 4 out of 5

We have gone to several BLUENOTE/ GLASS Seat games, but this time, they had us enter through an entry door located right next to the bar/seating area. The wind coming through was uncomfortable and a bit chilly. We'd hoped that Blues management would read these, and change that procedure. As ALWAYS, though, everything was excellent!

Fortunately the game was terrific. Pregame festivities were completely underwhelming and amateurish.

  • Up close and loud!

    by 6717fan on 10/16/16Scottrade Center - St LouisRating: 5 out of 5

Attended St. Louis Blues home opener NHL game for the 2016-17 season. Parked at Union Station for $15 (cash) and walked about 10-15 minutes to Scottrade Center. Had my paper printout tickets scanned and found our seats. Leg room for seating very tight. Cool inside so I wore my sweatshirt the whole time. PA system very loud and many people enjoying a Bud Light and whooping it up to cheer the team on. Didn't use the restroom so I cannot speak about their ease to find or use or their cleanliness. Good game and good seats (section 110 row P) but were expensive at $118/seat. Left for home 5 minutes into 3rd period to avoid the crowd. Blues won the game 3-2. Would definitely do again!

  • Great Game

Great game and great place to be. I believe that the Blues are setup for success. The focus was there, they played to win - good to see - I'm all excited and ready for the season - LET'S GO BLUES

I'll be supporting the blues in San Jose. Glad the Sharks won. Now I get to see my blues here in the Bay Area.

  • Great Seats at Scottrade for Hockey

    by Jerry13 on 5/8/16Scottrade Center - St LouisRating: 5 out of 5

Good seats to watch hockey game Row A of section 327. You can see play develop and also see what the refs missed to call. Seats close to concessions and bathrooms.

  • When the Blues go marching in.

The Blues finally made it over the first round hump. Next is the second round hill against the Stars.

I would recommend attending a hockey game to anyone who enjoys sports and excitement.

  • Yawn!!!

by asfvdewrs on 4/24/16Scottrade Center - St LouisRating: 2 out of 5

Much too late. If I'm going to be negative 4 hours of sleep, at least a victory would somewhat validate staying up that late. Starbucks must be getting a kickback from the NHL.

  • Blues game was amazing, but...

by AngryBluesFan on 4/19/16Scottrade Center - St LouisRating: 1 out of 5

As always, I was excited to see the Blues in another postseason game against the Blackhawks. However, my excitement turned to anger when I found my seat and realized that the best view of the game would be on one of the the 6" screens affixed to the back of two enormous TV cameras. I compared the seat views of several locations before deciding on these tickets and two giant cameras and their operators never appeared. Thanks for letting me pay premium prices for the same view I would have seen if I stayed home and watched the game on my phone.

  • Hockey Playoffs!

by ChicagoSportsGal on 4/19/16Scottrade Center - St LouisRating: 5 out of 5

The game was a lot of fun, even though my team lost. The opposing fans (at their home) were less than friendly and whined about every call and most plays. You would have thought it was their own kids on the ice! I am a VERY passionate hockey fan, so I understand that. But the Blues fans were so lost in the past they could not seem to enjoy the game (and wanted to tell me everything every Blackhawk player has ever done).

  • Witness to a robbery...lol

by FoolishOwl on 4/18/16Scottrade Center - St LouisRating: 5 out of 5

Game was terrific, questionable officiating was only real downside.

Game was wonderful! Seats bad - obstructed view not revealed at time of sale.
