SSGKobe on Tour

Louisiana has once again delivered a musical phenom -- this time to an adoring audience of hip-hop and rap fans. SSGKobe, whose IRL name is Tyreek Solomon Pellerin, made a mark in 2019 with his hit single "Thrax," which currently has more than 7 million views on YouTube, 33 million plays on Spotify and had a viral turn on TikTok.

Since then, he's been a music-making machine, releasing several more hits, including the popular "Calabasas" featuring $NOT, which includes a video directed by Cole Bennet of Lyrical Lemonade. Not long after that came the EP KO. in April of 2021. He followed that up with "MIA," his second most popular song on Spotify to date, and "ESCAPE YOUR LOVE," featuring Trippie Redd. He then partnered with SoFaygo for the single "Ok Let's Go!," released in mid-2021.

He released his next EP, RELAPSED, in July of 2022, which includes the rhyme-slinging verses and sonic beats of the single "(N) INE," a crowd favorite at Rolling Loud Miami in 2022.

His infectious lyrics and rhythmic rapping attracted the attention of Zack Bia and Field Trip Recordings, and he inked a deal in June of 2021 with Field Trip with Columbia Records as a major label partner. In September of 2022, he released the first single off his 2022 debut album U4EYA, "Luv U Back," which has already garnered steady play on Spotify as fans eagerly await the release of the full album.

SSGKobe Live in Concert

Tyreek Solomon Pellerin was born on December 2, 2003, and raised in Centerville, Louisiana, a small town about two hours outside New Orleans. He grew up listening to a wide variety of musical genres, including Al Green, Percy Sledge and Teena Marie, thanks to parents with varying degrees of musical taste.

Influenced by Chicago rapper/producer Chief Keef, he recorded his first song at 14 and started uploading to SoundCloud soon after. He quickly landed on the radar of L.A. music executive Zack Bia, and his budding career took off. SSGKobe has stated he is interested in all genres and intends to have more than one crossover hit.

The stage name SSGKobe combines two of Solomon's favorite things -- Super Saiyan God from Dragon Ball Z and the late basketball legend Kobe Bryant.

A firm believer in manifestation and the Law of Attraction, SSGKobe has predicted he'll have a Grammy by the time he's 21. With his current momentum, all signs point in that direction.
