    Spyro Gyra is one of my favorite jazz bands. They did not disappoint. They played a number of older hits and added new elements to them. Our seats were great.

    These guys are just AMAZING! They continue to be one of the best bands on the planet. They are energized, and so talented, and have such incredible respect for each other, it is just a non-stop SMILE the whole time you’re listening and watching. They’re fun, and it’s so obvious they too are having fun…. it’s one of our favorite performances each and every time. LOVE LOVE THEM and highly recommend if you ever get the opportunity to see them DO IT!!!!

    Spyro Gyra still wows me even though they have been making incredible jazz for over fifty years! Small theater seating really makes you feel the music. Jay Beckenstein still has the pipes and the band has incredible musicians that keep it tight with head bobbing jazz. Live, Spyro Gyra is the best!

    Beckenstein complains that some of the olders songs sound dated to him and then proceeds to close the show with a truncated medley of Shaker Song, Catching the Sun and Morning Dance. Out of touch. Arrogant.

    The concert was great and the Venue very special and intimate i felt lucky to get tickets and i would definitely get tickets again at the Talking Stick. Please let me know when the next jazz event i only hope to have the time to go. Spyro Gyra was jamming and they could have played all night long. I've been a fan since the beginning

    These guys are unbelievable musicians. FANTASTIC SHOW! Nonstop music and fun throughout the night. It's a vacation from everyday life and stress. Such a treat to have these fantastic musicians for almost two hrs. take you on a journey into a state of wonderful bliss. I have missed these guys. Thanks for coming to Scottsdale...

    Spyro Gyra! Well, I finally made it to one of their shows. Had to miss 3 times previously due to COVID, out of town, etc. SO WORTH THE WAIT! These guys are so "tight"with their polished performance it is truly an amazing listening experience. Sure, most of the audience were fellow "geezers", but I'm confident they would echo my comments and even expand on them. IMHO, it's really a shame more young people of today don't experience this level of musical talent. I'm a percussionist myself, and I can only aspire (at age 73) to continue to develop my skills to even a small % of what the drummer and keyboard players exhibit. All-in-all, a truly wonderful evening at the Talking Stick Showroom!!
