SAF was the best weekend of my life! It was awesome!!! So many positive vibes, friendly people, incredible set list, tons of merchandise! Water n beer prices were pretty high but overall it was perfection! My friend and I will never forget the experience! The 11 hour drive from OK to IL was beyond worth it.
I attended the festival last year and was speechless after leaving. This year they improved in every area and once again they amazed me. As long as they keep bringing great artists I'll continue coming!!
Main stage was just fantastic. I lost my mind when Krewella played. They were perfect in every way.
Awesome venue...awesome stages....not over crowded. Great!
This was a great festival. Everything was top notch and the staff were nice and reasonable. I'll be going every year from now on.
I seriously can not believe I went to this event. It feels like a dream. All the DJ's were great. But my favorite by far where Nero, Moby, Flosstradmus, Nicky Romero, Bassnectar, Nervo, Zedd, Excision, and CALVIN HARISS! I was blown away beyond words. The crowd was amazing. I would definitely be going again.
Everything was fine till the 930pm hit the clock, all three side stages were done playing the music, so we decided to hot the main stage at the field, but security stopped us and said that the field is closed and we can watch from benches. SERIOUSLY first of all we came to this place to dance and be close to the DJ, not stand by the chairs and enjoy the view. Second, the security at the door was really rude. Lastly there was no mention anywhere that we will be not able to enter the field after 9pm, clearly the event was supposed to end at 11. I know not that i wasted over $120 on 2 1/2 hour event. So thanks Spring Awakening 2013, so far worst Saturday this year for me.
I did not sit or rest for 14 straight hours. I raged and had one hell of a good time!
It was honestly a good show, the venue was nice. The main stage was amazing, but my only complaint would be that it wasn't worth the 100$ ticket price. It would have been if there were bigger stages for the other artist and if more played and in went on maybe 1-2 hours longer. All in all it was a good show. I also feel light gloves should be allowed in if you can just buy LED gloves inside, still doesn't make sense to me. It was an enjoyable show all together though
This was the most amazing event I have ever been too! It was so much fun can't wait for next year!
Most festivals are are amazing, Spring Awakening wasn't amazing but It is sure a great festival to attend. If you like a variety of electronic dance music, great people and really neat stage & sound production then you should definitely go check out Spring Awakening next year!
This was my first music festival and it was probably the best weekend of my life. Even my friends who have been to multiple festivals said the same thing. The artists were amazing and the lights/visuals were awesome. I will definitely be going to Spring Awakening again next year and bringing even more friends!
Hands down, best concert I have EVER been to!! I danced all day and all night!! The music was awesome!! The people were awesome!! And I did not want the night to end!! I will definately be going next year, NO DOUBT!! <3 SpRiNg AwAkEnInG 2013 <3 !!!!!!!!!!!!
Having gone for the 2nd year now, Spring awakening lives up to its name easily because of how great the location is and the quality of the venue. Always good to see some low key and up and coming producers/dj's get their name out there. Spring Awakening is easily a highlight to being in Chicago

The festival was amazing!! Went with my best friend and met up with a few more. We had an amazing time. Bassnectar and Wolfgang were phenomenal!!
Music festivals, especially ones catering to electronic dance music, should be 18+.
The production was incredible. Love the extra love the side stages got this year. Wolfgang was my favorite(we only went Saturday) My only complaint was the number of kids. Seeing them taken out by EMTs and and staff because they don't know their limits was rather unsettling.
Decent show. Enough bathrooms, not enough drinking fountains. Overpriced beer. Average priced tickets. Biggest drawback was that concert ended at 11pm. Very neat being on the field at soldiers field. Security did a great job of being present but not intrusive. EDC was much better: 4am show, more stages, same price, more attractions, free rides
