    Wonderful!

by 14Waffles on 12/16/14Tucson Music Hall - Tucson

My daughter and I really enjoyed the Southwest Nutcracker. The Tucson Regional Ballet and the Tucson Symphony Orchestra were wonderful. We have seen several Nutcracker performances from small dance schools to Russian Ballet Company and this has been one of our favorites. Love the Southwest twist, very talented dancers and appropriate length. Would definitely return next year. Congratulations TRB!

Great Show We had a very good time.

by magsnotti on 12/16/14Tucson Music Hall - Tucson

SOUTHWEST NUTCRACKER. Really wasn't expecting such a terrific performance from beginning to end. We were especially impressed at how well the children performers did; they were so obviously practiced and seemed as though they were pros and not youngsters. The rest of the cast was also excellent; and the costumes were extraordinarily beautiful and some even fun, e.g., the rattlesnakes! Bravo, Bravo!!!

    Southwest Nutcracker

by grannyfool on 12/18/13Tucson Music Hall - Tucson

Loved the southwest spin on an old favorite. Hurdy-gurdy girl was amazing; almost forgot she wasn't really a marionette. many wonderful dancers, beautiful costumes and of course the great music. Hope to make this an annual outing.

My wife has went in the past years ago with her mom. But this year i decided to go along. It was great. The orchestra performed very well and the dancer did a fabulous job. I can say i do enjoy ballet.

A Southwest Nutcracker is simply spectacular!

by Sahuaro on 12/17/13Tucson Music Hall - Tucson

A Southwest Nutcracker has that special southwest touch that makes it special and sets it apart from the other Nutcracker's ballets. A lot of imagination has been put into this presentation. Very talented dancers and young promises. What I personally did not like is that there is no dress code for the attendants. Ballet presentations have always been (or supposedly at least) a formal event, but there people wearing baseball caps. And if you are lucky enough to have someone with a cap sitting in front of you, then be prepared to have your view blocked. Not good.

My first time to see Southwest Nutcracker and my daughter and I agreed it is the best Nutcracker show we have seen in the 40+ years we have been going to see the Nutcracker Suite at Christmas (and my daughters's birthday)! We just started a new tradition!!

    A Delightful Nutcracker

by SunshineSweetPea on 12/13/11Tucson Music Hall - Tucson

Performers were excellent. The show enchanting. My 5 year old niece enjoyed it immensely...my 7 year old grandson was less than thrilled. Certainly got "your monies worth". Overall...a most enjoyable event.

    Better without the Southwest flair

by TomJames on 12/12/11Tucson Music Hall - Tucson

The symphony was great, and there were a pair of excellent ballet dancers, other than that it was simply okay. I knew it was going to be the Southwest Nutcracker, but it would have been better without all the southwest stuff--why mess with a good thing. After a while it started to feel like a high school holiday show where each class got to perform and all the performances were similar The talent wasn't worth the price and the emphasis on the southwest seemed to cause them the forget all about the actual nutcracker storyline. Overal, it was very disappointing.

Outstanding show in a great atmosphere. We had no children / grandchildren in the show, but really enjoyed. Those kids are very talented!

    SOUTHWEST NUTCRACKER SPARKLED!

by Coquettish on 12/6/10Tucson Music Hall - Tucson

I THINK THE SOUTHWEST NUTCRACKER IS SO MUCH MORE FUN AND EXCITING THAN THE TRADITIONAL ONE. THE DANCERS WERE ASTONISHINGLY TALENTED AND THE COSTUMING WAS SO COLORFUL AND WONDERFUL!
