A perfect performance of Beethoven's Ninth. Wonderful music that captured the heart and soul of this classic piece.
Excellent! And finally a performance of decent length! I hope it gets repeated next year considering the sold out audience and their applause.
Great music and fine voices and orchestra. Would love to hear more opera.
Sound control was not good. Chorus was ok but hard to hear. Vocal soloists were very good. Orchestra was sometimes muddy, particularly some brasses.
We had an amazing evening. Nothing can compare to a live performance and the orchestra, conductor, soloists and chorus did not disappoint.
Concert excellent Parking disaster. Need police there directing traffic. New payment process confusing. Almost missed concert because of parking issues. Will think twice re attending event again.
Loved watching the maestro...and the boy on the drums..love the choice of music. Amy should get better undergarments as hers showed and also made her figure look terrible, but a great voice. I also wish the instruments were on multi levels because if you sit in the orchestra area you can not see them all . Sadly you can not choose who sits next to you and I had to deal with a snoring man. The ease of parking and inside was perfect as were all the assistants. I also feel it could have been a little shorter Overall it was a beautiful experience.
What a wonderful evening! The night opened up with several popular operatic arias, which were very well done and highly enjoyable. But the orchestra outdid themselves with the Beethoven's Ninth Symphony. It was magnificent. The soloists and the choir did beautifully, but the orchestra was superb. At the end, the full house at the Broward Center gave the performance a well deserved lengthy standing ovation.
An astounding evening of music and song. I hope to attend more of these events in the future.
I always enjoy to go and listen the South Synphony . The programs vary and they are fantastic. My only concern it’s about Ticketmaster, many times it’s no working at the first time for many reasons.
Looking forward to future masterworks. I have been attending these functions for several years. Maria Alfonso is a superb Maestra!
From the parking lot to the snack stand to the stage...a wonderful experience. The program was well thought out and presented.
Beautiful music....special piano selection bringing in the new with the old.....exciting and brilliant. The experience is uplifting!! Music the universal language. Thank you.
The conductor was amazing. The music went thru her and moved her body. I also loved the pianist
never expected something so fantastic in Florida Im from New York i would expect it there not here
Amazing display of talent. The orchestra, and its guest performer, Awadagin Pratt, were masterful!
The concert was incredible. Such energy. My only criticism is about the Parker. The ramps to the Orchestra section are too steep. That steepness makes it difficult for people with disabilities to get to their seats. If it wasn't for the help of the ushers, I don't know how we would have made it to our seats. Please fix this problem.
I was spellbound by the performance. I was intrigued by the way some performers and the conductor interacted with the audience, felt intimate like we were olds friends. The Parker venue was superb.
We chose to buy one of the event rooms, The Haller Club to go to before the event. Turned out to be a great choice to have a place to go during the intermission. It was great to have food & drinks available! The show was very entertaining and lots of tallent!
I bought tickets to see a performance titled, “Handel’s Messiah”. I did not read that fine print. If I had, I would have read that it was not in fact Handel’s Messiah that I was buying a ticket for but a 2 hour Christmas Pop Variety concert with an extremely truncated version of Handel’s Messiah tacked on to the second half of the performance. I was very disappointed. Next time I’ll make sure to read the concert synopsis.
