  • "Hello Friends!"...

by plysdrms on 4/19/25White Oak Music Hall - Downstairs - HoustonRating: 5 out of 5

Hello M. Doughty! Saw these gentlemen three times in Los Angeles in the 90s and this show was as memorable as any of those. So glad to see them again!

  • Soul Coughing at Brooklyn Bowl

by Amber on 4/15/25Brooklyn Bowl Nashville - NashvilleRating: 5 out of 5

Great venue! Lots of people there, but it didn't seem too crowded. Very little wait for food and drinks. Friendly staff. Soul Coughing sounded fabulous! Will definitely return to Brooklyn Bowl.

  • Thankful They’re Still at It

by TEWhite on 4/14/25Brooklyn Bowl Nashville - NashvilleRating: 5 out of 5

With the original band members intact, Soul Coughing sounded as tight, and great, as they did the first time I saw them in 1994. Well played!!

  • Mind-blowing

by Tbone on 9/28/24Rating: 5 out of 5

If you are even remotely a fan, this is NOT to be missed. The production is tight, the vibe past but present, and for as much as it's incredible to see these guys back together again - Mike Doughty playing Mike Doughty - the bass playing is mind blowing. Sabastian is the BEST I've ever witnessed live. And I've seen my fair share of rockabilly units, jazz icons, Bootsy, Les Claypool, but nothing beats his ability to play that upright double..

  • Outstanding!

by Dreams of My Comrades on 9/23/24The Depot - Salt Lake CityRating: 5 out of 5

Great show! Excellent setlist, great energy, perfect sound quality. Not cool starting an hour late, but otherwise thoroughly enjoyable.

  • Music was 11/10! Venue was 4...

by Bri on 9/23/24The Depot - Salt Lake CityRating: 4 out of 5

Seeing Soul Coughing live again after 25 years was incredible! Such a great band, and the musicianship was as excellent as ever! The venue however, left a lot to be desired. Wondering if The Depot has undergone an ownership/management change recently? Purchased the expensive "VIP"upgrade for the show, and discovered that after charging so much, the venue had a pathetically small area for those ticket holders set up. Sightlines were worse than in GA, and they only set up enough tiny drink tables for about 1 of 5 patrons. Ridiculous. Won't ever spend the extra on so called "VIP"tickets there again.

  • The Band

by Reno on 9/18/24The Fillmore - San FranciscoRating: 4 out of 5

This band is fabulous. Bass player & drummer are exceptional talents. Show was mixed well too (kudos, audio brethren!). My only reservation was I thought Mike Doughty could've put a little more into his vocal delivery. It picked up a little in the last 1/3 of the show, but I thought it coulda been executed a little better. Did I mention how good the band is?

  • High energy

by wotsrovert on 9/18/24The Fillmore - San FranciscoRating: 5 out of 5

This band has chemistry and great songs. One of the best shows of this year.

  • Best show EVER

by David on 9/18/24The Fillmore - San FranciscoRating: 5 out of 5

Best show EVER. Not too late, no opener - 22 songs, all killer no filler. Sounded great, excellent live band.and the tix weren’t super expensive.

  • Amazing show!!!

  • Great band and great venue

by Moon Sammy on 9/16/24The Bellwether - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

So great to see Soul Coughing back together after all these years. The craziest thing is that they're better than they used to be. Everybody was in great form, and they even seemed to be having a good time. Perfect set list. Great crowd. And the Bellwether was really lovely.

  • A concert dream come true!!

by Sakabi on 9/16/24The Bellwether - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

Forget about the fact that it was a concert that I never thought I'd be able to attend in my lifetime, but EVERYTHING (besides some bros having an exceptionally loud conversation behind me in the balcony) was perfect! From parking, security, getting through the door, service at the bar, restrooms, and the spot we staked in balcony - no complaints. Thanks to the band and the Bellwether!!

  • Incredible

by Kay on 9/16/24The Bellwether - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

Not only was the music fantastic, the vibe chill, the crowd enthusiastic, and the space (Bellwether LA) intimate, but the band members just seem happier. M. Doughty had a grin on his face anytime he looked at the crowd. They seem to have a different relationship with their music. As their skills are superb, everything fell into place. No opener, which I also loved. We traveled from out of town to make this work and I’m so glad we did.

  • Worth the wait

by The radioman on 9/16/24The Bellwether - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

The Belasco is a very nice venue and Soul Coughing put on a fantastic show. It was definitely worth the 25 year wait to see them. Super Bon Bon
