My grandaughter thoroughly enjoyed the show. It was worth it just to watch her smiling and laughing.

Play was OK. The actors going in & out of "character" was confusing to children of most ages. Glad I took my 4 year old granddaughter because she enjoyed going. However, we have been to children's plays/musicals at the local high school that were impressive (even for the 4 yr old) compared to this play.

My 8-year-old daughter and I went to see Snow White at the Columbus Children's Theater. We had so much fun! Our seats were in the first row, which we loved. The actors were great and so funny! We were able to get autographs and pictures after the show, which just topped the date off!

The Snow White show was okay. My daughter and I saw Sleeping Beauty last year and it was fabulous so our standards were high for future shows. I appreciate changing the story line to make it a little more kid friendly like changing killing Snow White by cutting out her heart to cutting her hair. I thought it was clever but you guys still told all the kids it was supposed to be cutting out her heart. That kind of defeated your purpose. Also, I thought some of the changes from the Disney version were just dopey like the dwarfs' names. I would have liked to have seen more little kids in the show. And when the characters are arguing or yelling "soup" it just gives you a headache. Overall the show like I said was okay but I don't think I would recommend it for others to see.

My 5 year old daughter brought her friend and they both loved it! The actors/ characters were very engaging; the story was full of humor and charm! Loved the audience interaction and after show meet & greet... you have a winner!

    Snow White was surprisingly lame

by DDots on 8/12/12South Shore Music Circus - Cohasset

My husband and I were quite surprised at how cheesy this production was. The performers were mediocre at best, the sound quality was absolutely awful, almost nothing in the way of staging. We took our 4 year old granddaughter and she enjoyed it, but I think if she were 6 or 7 years of age, she would have been bored. We have been to middle school musicals that were a lot more entertaining than this. We expected a lot more from the SSMC. Next summer we will look elsewhere for children's musical theater.

    Nice job

by jimyg on 8/10/12Cape Cod Melody Tent - Hyannis

Had a great time with my 5 year old. The actors were great, it was very hot inside the tent. It lacked air movement and distracted from the show.perhaps someday fans could be installed.

I thought the production was sweet, however, it would have been a lot more enjoyable if they kept more to the original story. We saw no point in the dwarf's names being changed....or the evil step-mother becoming young to fool Snow White.....or the bit with the hair comb. Others sitting around us felt the same.

    GOOD SHOW

by MELHONIY27 on 8/9/10Cape Cod Melody Tent - Hyannis

MY DAUGHTERS 31/2 YRS. OLD AND SHE LOVED IT. FOR THE PRICE YOU DEFINETLY CAN'T BEAT IT. SHE GOT TO MEET SNOW WHITE AT THE END AND TAKE A PICTURE W/ HER AND THE PRINCE. DO FEEL THAT THE PEOPLE PUTTING THINGS ON AND OFF THE STAGE SHOULD OF BEEN A LITTLE DRESSED INTO THE SHOWS PLACE IN TIME THEME INSTEAD OF SHORTS AND SNEAKERS. WE'LL PROBABLY CATCH A DIFFERENT SHOW NEXT YEAR.

    Snow White

The characters play to the entire audience in a music tent setting. The 1/2 hr. segments are perfect for the younger set before the "itchy" syndrome sets in. Maybe a little audience participation would add to the play.

    Snow White wasmarginal at best

by Overd on 8/6/10Cape Cod Melody Tent - Hyannis

The biggest problem was the acoustics. I could barely understand the dialog so I'm sure it was lost on the children The play was billed to start at 11am. Many of us arrived 20 to 30 minutes ahead so we could get to our seats etc. The gates didn't even open until 11, which left hundreds of adults and children standing in the parking lot, baking in the sun. The performance didn't actually start untill 11:30

    good but....

by cohassetmom on 8/6/10South Shore Music Circus - Cohasset

i went to snow white with my 19 month old daughter. she was entertained the entire show and seemed to enjoy it. It's a cute local production and overall good but I wouldn't recommend it to a friend because i was a bit surprised by the language and negative theme tendencies that were prevalent throughout the show. If my daughter were talking more and beginning to parrot I would have left early on based on the language used (e.g. lame).

WARNING! Hot in tent, but nice show

by Northbridgemom on 8/5/10Cape Cod Melody Tent - Hyannis

The play was sweet and my 4 & 2 year old girls enjoyed it. Here are my tips. Be prepared for a hot event if in the summer. The show was about hour and half. We sat 4th row center but my husband found out that it was more enjoyable to sit in the back since you could see the show and feel the breeze. The story is a little different than the Disney version but a very nice change.
