    Clever and sassy!

by Lori on 6/29/22Amaturo Theater at Broward Center - Ft Lauderdale

We are from out of town and were lucky enough to catch the last performance of Head over Heels. I brought my 93 year old mother and we sat on the front row thanks to some kind ushers! Clever, smart, sassy and a joy to watch. The dancing, music and costumes would have been enough! But the enthusiasm, passion and professionalism of the actors made us giggle, gasp and laugh out loud - rarely can you find all three! Loved the play, the performance, and the message. Thanks to all of you who were involved in this performance. Pure entertainment- plus the music if the GOGOs took me way back!!

    Silly but cute!

by Maria on 6/23/22Amaturo Theater at Broward Center - Ft Lauderdale

Loved the GoGos back in the day, even saw them in concert so there was no way I wasn’t seeing this play. Wasn’t quite sure what to expect. It was fun, campy, a bit silly, but cute. With all the doom and gloom around us it was a welcome reprieve. The actors were really good, backup dancers felt a bit off and a bit awkward but it was an enjoyable show.

This was a wonderful, fun, well thought out musical! We had a blast singing and laughing! Well spent Saturday night! The cast was excellent, and we can't wait for next season to start.

    Fun Show

by Luke Cage on 6/18/22Amaturo Theater at Broward Center - Ft Lauderdale

I thought the show was great and a lot of fun. It also helped that I was familiar with almost all of the original songs.

The actors and everyone involved are talented and dedicated.

by Don Pedro on 6/16/22Amaturo Theater at Broward Center - Ft Lauderdale

I think the actors and everyone involved with the show were very talented and very dedicated to make the show a success. Personally, the heavy English accents and choice of old English vocabulary created difficulty in following the text of every situation. I completely understand that that is the basic structure and the specific time of the story. Overall, I am very satisfied with the show.

    Don't Waste Your Time

by Mad Mike on 6/14/22Amaturo Theater at Broward Center - Ft Lauderdale

What's worse - butchering classic songs or having an unbearable plot with weak actors? How can a dark-skinned 6 foot 2 man put on a blonde wig and fool people that he is a she? Most of the cast mumbled so you couldn't hear what they were saying. It's a show that I wanted to walk out, but had a date and suffered through the entire two acts. I happen to love the director who is a great choreographer and everyone has surely rehearsed well. Horrible story, terrible musical interpretations of classics. It's risky seeing a show you don't know - and this is such a waste of time.
