Slipknot in Concert
Theatrical nu-metal act Slipknot approaches live concerts in a different fashion than most touring acts. Rather than being acknowledged by name, each member of the nine-piece act is referred to by a number and each dons an industrial jumpsuit and his own unique mask. The concept serves dual purposes: to entertain fans and keep the musicians focused on performing.
Since their 1995 debut, the Iowa-based heavy metal outfit has had an easy time selling albums and tickets, with their 1999 eponymous debut making it onto The Billboard 200 and earning double-platinum status. Three full-length releases have followed, with a 2014 collection rumored to be in the works.
Slipknot, a regular on the Ozzfest tour circuit along with their own headlining runs, earned a Grammy Award for Best Metal Performance in 2006 for the single "Before I Forget" from 2004's "Vol. 3 (The Subliminal Verses)." The band worked with iconic producer Rick Rubin on the collection, which marks the group's only profanity-free effort.

Following the enormous success of 2019's inaugural Knotfest Roadshow tour, the multi-platinum, Grammy Award-winning hard rock band, Slipknot announced they will headline the Knotfest Roadshow 2020. Joining them to showcase the best the world of heavy music has to offer are special guests A Day To Remember, Underoath and Code Orange.

And this is actually the second time I've seen Slipknot in all their glory. Luckily, I had pit tickets this time around and it just made the experience that much better. Every band did amazing, everyone had so much love to give. Slipknot performance was too notch perfect, along with Corey giving all the people endless amounts of love and appreciation. Anyone who wants to go see Slipknot perform is a must!

If anything it was the greatest rock experience Ive ever had. All my favorite songs came to life in a conglomeration of stobe lights, pyrotechnics and screaming! Thank you Slipknot!

Not really a behemoth fan but they was pretty good, gojira was great I was extremely impressed with them and have now downloaded all their albums, volbeat was amazing as always! Iāve went and seen a bunch of different metal bands live But slipknot was the best show Iāve ever seen! I will be going to see them again!

Even with the severe thunderstorm threat in the area, the show did not stop. The staff and the officers from the Va Beach Police Dept did a great job getting all the concert goers to safety. Had a great time.

This was my first Slipknot concert and I had a great time. The fellow metal heads were very courteous and kind. Hope to see them again.

My voice was hoarse, my neck was sore, my legs hurt and it was absolutely amazing.
