Didn’t think about sitting. I had a great time dancing and singing along.

The show started on time!!!! The crowd and the host was lit!!!!! All the performers sung there songs..... No lip singing or following along to a record!!!!

Every performer shined except maybe Slick Rick. He left most of us confused with his performance

It is amazing to see these legends live! Rakim, Big Daddy Kane and EPMD are my three favorite rap acts ever. I feel like they didn't even get through their main songs. (BDK did this best.) Roxanne Shante maybe did two verses and the rest was more like a comedy act. She was fun. I personally would prefer a full 45 minutes from the main acts, more coordination to limit time between sets (this should be easy), and less of pumping up the crowd between sets. We are there to see these amazing artists, not yell 100 times when we are told to or to listen to other classic hip hop. Some? Sure. But not for 10 minutes between acts. Iwant to hear more Rakim and EPMD! This is just constructive criticism as I will go to any similar show at this venue.

I enjoyed hearing the music from my time. It was like a Comedy show with my girl Roxanne Shante and party, plus a concert with all of their performances. I think they all did good love all their music from my time.

I loved every single minute of it!! I wasnt too sure about Roxanne Shante but she really came out and did her thing!! They DJ Craigg did his thing as well as the DJ's for the other Artist. I think one of the best parts was the recognition of all the Rappers no longer with us. I am going to the one in Atlantic City, with Dougie Fresh, as well. I'm sure it will be as good as this one.

While a lackluster sound system prevents me from awarding a 5 star rating, the inaudibility of Rick's vocals hardly mattered because, as Rakim so memorably put it, "MC means Move the Crowd". Rick showed up, and the crowd moved. From there, the success of the performance no longer depended on Rick alone, but on Rick and his audience. Where Rick's singing failed to be heard, the crowd made up for it, who knew the songs by heart and helped complete that magnificent circuit so distinctive of Hip Hop performance, where audience participation brings the performer and the crowd into a union of reciprocal dependence. Rick fulfilled his function, not as a mere object for the gaze of a passive audience, but as a focal point for something more participatory and communal: the spark that ignites crowd movement. He gathered a crowd, we moved, and that's enough.

This concert brought back ALL the feels!! It was amazing, nostalgic and great to see everyone having a great time!!

Everyone was great, but Big Daddy Kane did his thing!! Great Performance!

The Bergen PAC let everyone run wild! People in the isles blocking views. Why did I pay a premium for better seats if they were not going to keep the isles clear. Should never advertise a group and have only one original member with 2 guys that weren't born when the group started. DJs were good. Soul Sonic Force won the night for me. The rest was ehh. Barely could understand Slick Rick( disappointing). I dont think I will go back to the Bergen PAC.

The concert was excellent. Roxanne Shante opened and rocked the house. Brand Nubien really tore it up. Everyone was great. Rob Base, Grandmaster Caz, Slick Rick, Soul Sonic Force, The Sugarhill Gang, All the Dj's and other artists, Melle Mel and Scorpio and of course Ralph McDaniels and Sal. Loved the show will be back next year.

This event was a early birthday gift for my husband. He enjoyed seeing all of the artists performances. It was awesome! Just slightly warm inside. I guess they didnt want to turn the AC on at the hall.

There is a definite buzz for classic established old school artist right now but with that comes a responsibility from the artist. If you are not ready to do a show, don't accept the booking. Don't tarnish a good memory with an unprepared unenthusiastic performance. Rick came out not looking "slick" at all. As descriptive as his lyrics have been about his style there was little to no thought put into what he wore on stage. Even getting past his choice of clothes his performance was lethargic and barely audible at times. Doug E did his best to carry Rick but it was apparent he should have left Rick at home on the couch.

Although Slick Rick tried his hardest the show was way too short for the money that I spent on tickets. The show started at nine but Slick Rock didn't come out until about 10 and was off stage by 10:30pm!!!!!! There was no after party or meet and greet. I was thoroughly disappointed by how fast the show ended.
