Rob Zombie Slayer and Exodus in Seattle

    by FastFrank44 on 8/9/11WAMU theater - Seattle

Another great show from Rob Zombie!! with the pyro, lights and Robs monster film clips its one of the best shows on earth! I counted over 6 robots and demons. And don't forget the music, perfect timing and mix on every song! Slayer deliverd there usual ground pounding set and Exodus got the place fired up.

    Slayer ROCKS

by TheBassist on 8/9/11WaMu Theater - Seattle

As always SLAYER put on a great show. Exodus rocked too. Rob Zombie disappointed me with confetti and beach balls. I didn't think I was going to a new kids on the block concert...

Rob Zombie put on the BEST show I ever seen!! Slayer put on a awesome show but the bass drums were too high. Made my date leave to the back. Thanks guys! I love Slayer but turn down the bass drums please.

Exodus as an opener did great getting everybody pumped and they brought kerry king out at the end. Rob Zombie was like another world such a good show with the John 5 guitar solo in the middle of Thunderkiss 65. Slayer once again proved their spot as reigning metal heavyweights holy s they were amazing.

    Rob Zombie was great!

by Pkssauce on 8/8/11WaMu Theater - Seattle

Rob Zombie was great, however, Slayer was a little too "perfect race" for me. We left three songs into Slayer. Really glad zombie was first.

    Wow

by LeROb on 8/8/11WaMu Theater - Seattle

Fantastic show, Came for Slayer. Rob Zombie had disappointed me in the past with a weak show. He redeemed himself at the WaMu. Aside from a weak guitar solo (guitar was weak for the entire show to be honest) and a weak drum solo, It was really good. Slayer killed and Exodus was surprisingly good. I hadn't listened to alot of stuff they put out but that is changing.

Rob Zombie was incredible and puts on a great show for the audience, it was my first time seeing him in concert. Slayer I had see before and they were great also. I was also very impressed with Exodus as it was my first time seeing them in concert.

What can I say....I have seen Slayer 8 times now and they just get better everytime! Zombie and Exodus rocked the house too. WaMu in Seattle is a kick ass place! Took a couple friends that hadn't seen Slayer before, they were blown away! Slayer fans are a breed of their own!!

    slayer/zombie, awesome again!!

by steeleshadow on 8/8/11WaMu Theater - Seattle

the line going in was fast and organized. inside was set up a bit better than the last show I saw at WaMu. great sound from metal legends and amazing stage performance from everyone. Exodus opened the night and I felt like I was seeing them for the first time again. near the end of there set Kerry came out and jammed with them. Rob Zombie put on a kickass show as usual. he has amazing stage shows, a true master showman. I have only missed 2 Slayer shows in the last 30 years....they kicked my ass again. I've been to metal shows that have moments were people slow down....not this time. everyone was jumping, yelling and fists pumping.

    Zombie Rulezzzzz!

    by Murderdoll13 on 8/8/11WaMu Theater - Seattle

Rob Zombie kicked ass Just like he always does. Always puts on a good show. I've seen Slayer 3 times before. And they always kicked ass. But this time it sucked. Sound was bad. Jeff Hanaman was absent, and they had sum other dude playing in his spot. They should have mentioned this before I bought the tickets.

    slayer and rob zombie concert

by harryballs on 8/8/11WaMu Theater - Seattle

Exodus opened, which was surprising, since they weren't on the ticket or any propaganda for the concert. I don't know any exodus music. They seemed like a nice bunch of guys, but the music was generic typical 80's thrash metal. I got bored after 2 songs. Luckily, they only played 5 or 6. Rob zombie was next. All I can say was AWESOME! That guy knows how to put on a show! My first CD was a White Zombie CD, and it was really cool to hear him play some of his old stuff. We didn't go due to Rob Zombie - we went because of Slayer, but Rob Zombie easily became the favorite act (for me) of the night. Next up was Slayer. Which was originally the entire reason we went. The music was always great, the songs were tight and there was minimal talk between songs. However, I was majorly disappointed by the audio. You couldn't hear the vocals during the "speaking parts" of the songs, and the guitars were not matched. One was louder than the other. In fact, it was hard to hear the 2nd guitarist's solos. At times it sounded like the audio was cutting out.

    Great show!!

    by sbdawg88 on 8/8/11WaMu Theater - Seattle

Rob zombie puts on a hell of a show . Lights etc. Slayer was as fast and pounding loud as always. The Wamu theater is great place to see a show. Plenty of places to get a drink etc.

    Slayer as usual played loudly!!!!

by calix on 8/8/11WaMu Theater - Seattle

Slayer showed why is one of the most successful and respected metal bands of all times. Loyal to their sound and music they navigate successfully the 90's grunge era. They play a solid set of songs and Lombardo on drums just adds perfection to their ejection.
