    Ginger Fish completes the picture!

    by M15ser on 7/22/11Sovereign Center - Reading

First off, Slayer was Slayer only louder than ever. They don't do much on stage but stand there and play under the same set they've always had. Rob Zombie's show on the other hand is totally awesome! This is the 6th time I've seen him since 2001, but the 1st since Ginger joined the band. I never ever thought that Zombie needed improvement in the past, but after hearing the band with Ginger I realize Rob Zombie now has the perfect band! I don't say that just because I've seen Ginger 9 Times with Marilyn Manson either! I've always known how well him and John 5 play together, but put it all together with Rob and Piggy D! WOW! I would recommend going to see Rob Zombie anytime! He always jokes around and makes you laugh besides being generally awesome! John 5 is one of the best guitar players in the world and is so genuine! He is a really nice guy and is totally into his fans! Piggy D is also very talented and has the coolest clothes, how often do you really see skunk pelts in action? GO SEE ROB ZOMBIE ANYTIME YOU HAVE A CHANCE! MORE THAN ONCE IF AT ALL POSSIBLE!

Slayer and Zombie...Match Made in Hell!!!

    by ggreco88 on 7/22/11Sovereign Center - Reading

What a great time we had at he Hell on Earth show in Reading. I've been a huge Slayer and Zombie fan since i was in High School, and I've seen the each a bunch of times. But when i heard they were touring together, I had to be there!!! And as usual the didn't let me down. I did notice Jeff Hanneman was not on stage with Slayer, which was kind of a bummer. But I heard he's recovering from and illness. They were louder and heavier than ever. They get better with age. Rob Zombie as always was his energetic screaming demon. The visuals of the stage show are so friggin awesome and the band tears it up. They all look like they are having so much fun up there. I wish each band would have played 4 or 5 more songs but that's the only drawback of having 2 monster bands split the bill. I would go see this show again tomorrow.

This was the best concert I've been to. I took my 9year old son and he had a blast we had general admission and we were able to get all the way up from. I couldn't believe how nice everyone was to my son. Some guy next to us even offered to put him up in his shoulders!! All I know is rob zombie better come back to reading soon!!!!

    Hell on Earth

    by Babs113 on 7/22/11Sovereign Center - Reading

The show was amazing. Not as scary and I thought it would be but loved it none the less. Crowd was interesting, some of Zombie's music was before some of these kids were born. I loved it so much I looked to see if they were going to be playing close to where I will be on vacation in a few weeks.....unfortunately not even close.

    by 570thrasher on 7/22/11Sovereign Center - Reading

Show was great. All bands were good. Not too hot inside. Extra fees for tickets were a bit much. Cost another $9.00 to park on top of that .Band Merch cost a lot. Service was very slow at concession stands

    Rob Zombie was INCREDIBLE!

by MHatchet on 7/22/11Sovereign Center - Reading

Normally the first band named is "assumed" to be the opening band. Since we were more interested in RZ we got there at the end of what we thought was Slayer's set. Hence our confusion when we were leaving after RZ and they were doing sound checks. Since RZ was who we were there to see it really wasn't a big deal, just not advertised very well.

    We missed Zombie!

by ajob on 7/22/11Sovereign Center - Reading

I had called the Sovereign Center to find out the basic lineup of bands and was told Zombie went on around 9:30. I have already seen Slayer and Exodus and am not that into them so I planned on seeing Zombie only. When I got there at 9pm, it was breaktime. When the show started - it was Slayer. I drove up from Baltimore, got a hotel room, paid for 2 tickets, and saw nothing. We left. Not sure who's fault this is - Sovereign Center or the tour's, but it truly ruined my evening. And I wasted a vacation day the next day since there is nothing in REading, PA to do so we didn't even stay in our hotel.
