About
"To be honest my vibe gets killed the most when I'm concentrating too much on what is around me and thinking too much about it all," Moore states. "I have the most fun when I let my inhibitions check out, right at that point things just start to happen."
It started to go well for Sonny when he filtered out the noise and distraction of his world as a solo artist and started mining the ephemeral moments he had been sharing with friends in clubs and parties across the city he calls home since his mid-teen years. The restless, urgent and kaleidoscopic sounds of EDM and bass music had spoken to him for the best part of a decade, one day he just started talking back.
"Making music is the same as DJing," he offers. "You continue along the path that leaves you most inspired. When you think too much you put limits on what is possible, the best parts are always instinctual rather than something too considered or planned out."

It was such a cool performance with an awesome light show and some awesome dubstep.

Electric factory was a great venue as always. The sounds was perfect and the stage setup was sick. Skrillex killed it. The after party at Milkboy was unreal and made my night/semester.
Skrillex blew me away!
by FeedMeRawChicken on 10/10/11The Electric Factory - PhiladelphiaRating: 5 out of 5Foreign Beggars and 12th Planet was awesome! Thorough enjoyed their sets, pleasantly surprised at how great they were live. Skrillex was definitely the best show I've seen. His visuals were amazing and the bass was loud, low and shook your body! Electric factory was PACKED but as expected. Great Night! Any fan of Electronica should see Skrillex.

Awesome show. Very well put together. After party was even better.
Skrillex
by Laguar on 10/10/11The Electric Factory - PhiladelphiaRating: 4 out of 5The Skrillex show was well worth the ticket price. You pay for more than just the music. The other Djs playing had just has much energy as Skrillex so it was a great transition between artists. The experience and the overrall effects were fantastic. I would have liked if Skrillex played at least one song all the way through, but the way he mashed and mixed all his songs was great. He knows how to get the crowd moving and hyped.
AMAZING

Good Music Douche Company
by wowsley on 10/9/11The National - RichmondRating: 4 out of 5The concert was amazing, every performer rocked the house. Skrillex put on a light show that would rival Pink Floyd's. However, the level of douche, testosterone driven guys was through the roof.
SKRILLEX IS LIFECHANGING
by BoBobobobboboobobobo on 10/9/11The National - RichmondRating: 5 out of 5One cannot simply fathom how freaking awesome Skrillex is. And the Skrillex Cell is completely mind blowing with its special effects. If you miss out on an even of his near you, you have practically missed one of the greatest things ever. You may see videos of him and the cell but nothing compares to seeing it in real life.
Skrillex rocks the house - literally
by doumom on 10/9/11The National - RichmondRating: 4 out of 5Skrillex puts on an amazing show. What a performance. I'm glad I wasn't in the balcony. You need to be able to see his stage show straight on for the full effect. I'm so sorry he had technical problems with Gilgamesh. Still outstanding. Fun. Not a huge fan of the Foreign Beggars. More dub, less rap is my preference.

The concert was so much fun. Everyone there loved and knew skrillex and the djs before were great too. I loved the awesome set-up skrillex had and the involvement with the audience. I would definitely go again if I had the chance.
