American hard rockers SKILLET return to Australia for the first time since 2011!
“It’s been an amazing journey. The fans, the Panheads, mean everything to us. They’re the reason we’re here. They make our shows what they are” (John Cooper, Vocals & Bass)
Epic, expansive and anthemic, SKILLET create the type of rock that simply explodes in a live setting. Rather than merely a show, SKILLET put on an experience for their fans through authentic and energetic performances of their studio work, as well as existential banter with fans touching on everything from the bands faith, to frontman John Cooper’s passion for video games.
“the crowd fed off their interactivity with them as well as Skillet’s lively onstage personalities” (Sight of Sound)
SKILLET lets their music speak the loudest. Selling over 11 million units worldwide, the Wisconsin quartet have received two GRAMMY® Award nominations and won a Billboard Music Award for the platinum-certified Awake.
Now it’s time to witness SKILLET live - this is when they are at their most potent, pure, and powerful!
“Their crowd interactions really draw the whole room in. Their songs and lyrics truly lift up the spirits of the audience and has people leaving the night feeling elevated and cleansed” (Onstage Review)
This was our best concert experience ever! We loved it !!!
The show was incredible. I purchased my tickets the day before the show and still got really great seats in the VIP section. The VIP tickets were really resonable and I appreciated seeing an awesome group of bands that was not trying to rip off its fans. It totally rocked!!!
We went to see the Skillet concert at Club Nokia. I was a little concerned about out seats on the upper balcony in the back but any seat in Club Nokia is a GREAT seat! The lights, the special effects, the bands that opened - everything was amazing and it was probably the best rock concert I've been to so far! And the drinks at the bar are fantastic! Bartenders are great!
Skillet was GREAT!!! So much energy... never a dull moment while they were playing. Great effects, lighting and sound. It was really a great show, they played mostly all their hits. The drummer is awesome! Both guitarist gave a great show and the lead singer/bass player has sooo much talent!! This show was worth every PENNY!
Hey, this was an AMAZING show!!! It was CRAZY LOUD in there! Everyone was singing along! Rocking their Rock Fists, head banging, jumping up and down! I didn't feel my 40 years! I felt like I was 19 again! What a fun time spent with my daughter, 13 years old! John rocked the stage and was as cute as ever! Thanks for a great time!! God Bless!
This was such an incredible concert! The bands rocked!! The venue was also great. I loved the whole concert experience. We traveled 2 hours (not including traffic) and it was totally worth it.
Loved the concert, club nokia is the best place to see a concert. The venue is the perfect size to rockout, make sure to purchase VIP tickets if you want to have a seat.
Have been to many concerts, including Skillet. This was the Best concert yet!! They rocked it hardcore, involved the audience and had fun. Featured drum solos, guitar and strings solos-Awesome talent. They were impressed the L.A. crowd-we knew all their songs. The pit is the best spot in the venue-So close you have eye contact with the band!
We recommend this band anytime!!! We loved the concert!! It was great!!!!
Skillet was great. Stage setup was first class. Strings were sick with the best songs played from the Comatose and Awake & Alive albums. Nice to see a Christian rock show that felt like a real rock show and stage setup. Weird that Hawk Nelson (punk) opened up but Decyfer Down was a great surprise. Only complaint is about the Club Nokia venue. The vocal sound in the balcony seats sucked. The sub drowned out the vocals. But it was OK since evryone on the balcony was singing every word.
This was my 1st Skillet experience and I hope won't be the last. It was a night of all out Rock that was awesome!!!!
I thought this was amazing! All the bands were great and the venu was awesome.
Last night I went to Skillet's show in L.A. and it was incredible. I thought the fact that they featured Ben, Jen, and the two string players was incredible, and also how they brought some classical into the mix was brilliance. The Letter Black, Dycepher Down, and Hawk Nelson were really good too! I was hoping that Skillet would have a signing at one point during the show at the merch table, and that I would be able to go down to the stage (because I found out once I got there that I had the wrong kind of ticket so I couldn't get next to the stage), but as far as the show goes, it was freaking amazing and would easily recommend it to anyone!
I had an amazing time. Took my boyfriend, who is their biggest fan. He caught Jen's drumstick. Super happy day.
Fantastic concert, wasn't a huge fan of the warm-up bands, but Skillet sure knows how to put on a show!
The whole place was awesome, the bands incredible and the music rockin! The Club Nokia VIP lounge was awesome, loved the setup of the place. The sound mix could have used a little bit of tweeking, but it was a concert mix so can't ask much more. Great tickets, great service and a great surprise meet and greet with the band.
Skillet rocked the whole stage, stood up the whole time while screaming & head-banging!!! Wanna do it again! Skillet PLEASE play in So Cal sometime soon!
Skillet was amazing!!!!!!!!! I absolutely loved it!!!!
The entire show was exploding with energy from the moment the opening band took the stage, to the last power chord Skillet ripped out before making their exit. The fans were VERY into it, cheering and singing as loud as I'd ever heard. As always, Skillet delivered a high-intensity show with unbelievable musicianship and a passionate performance. I left exhausted, feeling like -I- had played the show, but it was totally worth it. Before arriving I wasn't sure what to think of Decyfer Down's new lead singer, but his performance was incredible and the band as a whole sounded phenomenal. The effects and lighting throughout the show only added to the emotion and complimented each song nicely. I would do it again in a heartbeat.
Skillet knows how to put on a good show and this tour is no exception. From solos, live accompaniment with a violin and cello, a crazy light show with pyros, to fresh musical interludes between songs - both your eyes and ears will not be disappointed. If you're in need of a good rock show (and who isn't) you'd better find a way to catch this tour while you can - by car, plane... just be there. Above all, be ready to rock.
