I thought they were very original. They were pretty easy on the ears (compared to some bands) and they had a very talented group of musicians. The opener Sirsy is a two man (or should I say man-woman) band with amazing talent too. I would definitely go again, if not just to see that harmonica solo one more time! :)
Got to catch them at Dogfish Head in Rehoboth, DE over the summer… every member of Sister Sparrow was super talented, together had a great sound, and each very personable. You definitely have to check out!
This concert was absolutely fabulous and I'm not entirely surprised because Bowery ballroom is undoubtedly one of the best venues in new York city. This was my second time there and the sound was perfect, it wasn't too crowded, and sister sparrow ad her dirty birds were mind blowingly talented. I feel bad for whomever hasn't experienced their music. And live was just ten times better than listening to the studio versions
Amazing Band check them out!!!!!! and as always Bowery Ballroom puts on the best and most involving shows!!!!!
Each of them is very talented, the band is tight, their energy is crazy, Sister Sparrow is a phenomenal singer and their sound is very blues rock and gritty. Loved it!
