Originating from Gainesville, FL, Sister Hazel is comprised of five gifted, seasoned musicians whose well-spring of natural talent has been called "one of the Top 100 Most Influential Independent Performers of the last 15 years" by Performing Songwriter Magazine. Song "All for You" topped the adult alternative charts during the summer of 1997 and the success propelled their album to platinum status.
In their first showing on the country music charts they made a strong debut with "Lighter In The Dark" at #4 on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart, #6 on Billboard's Independent Albums chart, #30 on Billboard's Top Current Albums chart.
The band landed on Billboard's Top Country Albums Chart again in 2018 and 2019 with Volumes I, II, III, and IV of a clever EP compilation series titled "Elements." In February 2018, "Water," landed on the Billboard Country Albums chart at #9 and at #2 on Billboard's Independent Albums chart along with making their debut on the most revered stage in country music, the Grand Ole Opry. In September of 2018, "Wind" landed at #1 on iTunes country page and #11 on Billboard's Independent Albums chart. In February 2019, Vol. III "Fire" landed at #5 on Billboard's Independent Albums chart and #46 Billboard's Top Country Albums Chart. The collectible compilation series ended with "Earth" which again landed at on the charts at #15 on Billboard's Americana/Folk Album chart.
Living up to their fan-centered reputation, the band hosts annual events like "Hazelnut Hang," that focuses on fan involvement and was a pioneer in themed cruise experiences by co-founding "The Rock Boat," a cruise featuring nonstop opportunities for fan/artist interaction. Sister Hazel has been equally attentive to connecting with their audience through social media. They have since made their Grand Ole Opry debut and shared the stages with country music superstars at The CMA Festival, Tortuga Music Festival, among others. In addition to the events and touring, the band also gives back with "Lyrics For Life." Founded by singer Ken Block and the Band, the charity unites musicians and celebrities for concerts and auctions to benefit cancer research and patient-care charities.

I’ve been going to see the band since 1993. Amazing talant so devoted to their fans. Ken has a book (if you didn’t know) “change your mind” I bought several copies for my family and one for me (I lost a daughter in 1998 and it helped me with my grief- check it out!) Consistently great at every show!
These guys always have their heart and soul in the music! We had the best time and even made pictures with Ken!
Sister hazel is home to me. The whole band is a beautiful family with amazing musical skills, lyrics, fun and love. Can never get enough!

Sister Hazel was entertaining, if not in great voice. Not sure it was due to the acoustics, the sound system, or just aging of the band. The big complaint is the venue. 1000 or more straight back chairs set up in a ball room, all at floor level. This was my first and last time to go to a concert at Hollywood Casino. Just pathetic.
Another great show by Sister Hazel! They certainly care about their fans and make sure they have an enjoyable show. I guess that's why they have been around for so long and have such a loyal fanbase.
The venue was great. They did a spectacular job of accommodating the bad weather and lightning delay. Great concert atmosphere. Sister Hazel was truly amazing as always (I’ve seen them 5 times now) and even with their shortened set it was great. Good mix of their hits, a new song, and a couple of surprises. Ken and the rest of the group never disappoint. It was my wife’s first time at the venue and first time seeing the band and she’s hooked now. Been playing their albums since the concert ended. Other than one out of hand (drunk) fan that security handled, it was a perfect show! Thanks Avondale Brewery and thanks Sister Hazel. Please come back soon!

Sister Hazel was great! I hadn't seen them in the past but they were very entertaining and super talented. I'd definitely go see them again.
I've seen several shows, but never with such a lively band!! Simply spectacular!! Amazing!!
The venue was smaller than the norm, but that meant less people. Sister Hazel put on a great show and the lead singer even walked around in the audience to take selfies with people. I had such a great time!
Saw Sister Hazel at The Foundry in Greenville, SC. Small venue - the volume was way, WAY too loud. Overall volume was too loud, the bass and drums were overpowering, guitar was too loud, and even the vocals alone when there weren't instruments were too loud. I've been to Guns N' Roses, Billy Idol, Joan Jett, 38 Special, Bryan Adams, and others - and this was WAY too loud even at the very back of the bar. Made the whole show miserable. They didn't sing the songs the way they are on the albums. I'm ok with little differences, but this was too much. Perhaps they are tired of singing the same songs 10,000 times over the last 30 years. They also played a few covers for some reason - 1 was "Let's Go Crazy" by Prince. Not a good job on that one, which pretty much nobody can cover well. Edwin McCain came out for 1 song, and they played "Shooting Star" by Bad Company, which was pretty good, but why not do an Edwin song? Strange. I saw Sister Hazel about a year and a half ago, and that was a much better show. I wouldn't go see them again.
We love going to see Sister Hazel. They are very talented and really get the crowd excited by engaging with the audience.
I absolutely love sister Hazel music and concerts. They are people doing what they were born to do! Play music and entertain. The concerts are fun, and I love the jokes between the band. Always a good time.

Not a fan of either group, don't think I ever heard them before. Only went cause it was the girlfriend's birthday, a good price, and we live close. Wasn't notified, and were surprised that we'd be standing, and on a slope with my toes several inches higher than my heels. Uncomfortable. We left after a few of S.H.'s songs, no disrespect to them, just couldn't stand any longer. Please in the future make sure to state whether the show is upstairs or down, and what it takes to get in that seated section above. Can't wait for Buddy Guy!
We had an awesome time at this show. Doug Jones and his band brought fantastic energy. We love how he sings with his sister! Then, Sister Hazel came out, and they were amazing too. I had forgotten how many great songs they have. The auditorium was not very pretty inside, but it worked for a well-mannered crowd to stand and watch the show. I would have loved to see better beer and wine choices.
Guys have been together since 93 without lineup changes and it shows! Great musicians doing great songs! What’s not to love. We had a blast! Singing and dancing( or my feeble attempt)! Songs from the Fortress album are still our favorites but they were all great! If you have the chance definitely go see these guys!
Buyer Beware! Event showed General Admission for the Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium, which is a nice venue, with nice seating..... Unfortunately they set the concert up in a different area, which was in the lower old lee part of the building and there was NO SEATING! The bands performance was wonderful & I definitely enjoyed seeing them perform. However I (& many others I talked to) were VERY upset that we had to stand for the entire event in a old ran down part of the facility. Myself and offers felt like the advertisement was misleading, considering it never mentioned it not being in the actual auditorium. So again BUYER BEWARE!!!
