  • Loved it

by JC on 12/20/24Edmonton EXPO Centre - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5

Michelle Rushfelt is a STAR!!!! Didn’t love the expo center as a venue but the show was fabulous

  • Performance was AMAZING, facility OK-ish

by Dl on 12/19/24Edmonton EXPO Centre - EdmontonRating: 3 out of 5

The Singing Christmas Tree never disappoints!! But the venue of the Expo Centre is certainly not as nice as the Jubilee. When sitting in row 18, the top of the Christmas Tree is blocked by the lighting equipment hanging from the ceiling. When they are not singing, the roof fans in the room are noisy. And if you are sitting in the upper sections, there are no hand rails for support, and many people had challenges going up & down the stairs. The Expo Centre is OK, but the Jubilee is way better with it's festive decorations, and atmosphere.

  • Great perfomance and tradition!

Very beautiful concert. Festive atmosphere! Thoughtful program. Beautiful stylish costumes. Bright numbers. Terrific show, music and celebration! Let the next year be too!!!

  • Good show , bad seat

by Mud on 12/18/24Edmonton EXPO Centre - EdmontonRating: 3 out of 5

The show was amazing. But I did not realize I had a seat way up the stairs and there was no railing where my seat was. I had to get people to help me get up and firm those stairs.

  • Interesting afternoon

by HYG on 12/18/24Edmonton EXPO Centre - EdmontonRating: 4 out of 5

Non stop action. Quite the production. Found the choir got drowned out and lost by drums and bass and too much other stuff going on. super loud. I would’ve really liked to hear the choir sing on their own… more focus on them!!! Lady doing ariel ring while playing violin was cool.

  • Singing Christmas Tree

A most amazing show!! Cameron knocked it out of the park with the remake of the Christmas Tree.

  • Disappointed

by Samuel on 12/16/24Edmonton EXPO Centre - EdmontonRating: 3 out of 5

We were disappointed with the Singing Christmas Tree this year. We expected to hear the choir singing with it's many voices as they had done in the past. Instead we saw a light show and individual entertainers, which were good but took away from the theme The Singing Christmas Tree. The venue didn't add to the setting. Why can't we have an evening with beautiful voices in a church setting. We probably will not be going back soon.

  • Great Concert - BUT WAY TOO LOUD!

by Rocketred on 12/16/24Rating: 4 out of 5

I have never been to the Edmonton Singing Christmas Tree before, and was really in awe at the performance evening on December 13th, 2024. It was a great venue, with great performances, great orchestra, conductor, artists, dancers, singers, etc!! But I was expecting to HEAR the actual voices of those singing in the 'christmas tree' MORE....their voices were drowned out by the orchestra/drums in my opinion. We had great seats, Section E2. So perhaps your sound people need to enhance the sound of the voices of those singing from the 'christmas tree' itself MORE, and the band less. It appeared to me that the BAND and those with microphones were COMPETING with the voices of those in the 'christmas tree choir'. Please look into this more closely - apparently this Singing Christmas Tree started with that in mind - IE, the VOICES of those singing IN that choir. Otherwise it was a great evening....just wanted to be able to hear the voices from those singing in the "Christmas Tree"to be LOUDER, more acoustically viable. But I did love the large LED screen and computer enhanced imagery and use of that large LED screen - WOW! I will come to this again in future years, as it really did set a nice start to the Christmas Season. Thank you.

  • Over the top! Amazing production!

by Gord on 12/15/24Edmonton EXPO Centre - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5

That was absolutely amazing! It really gets you in the holiday mood. I loved how everything was executed flawlessly, from the orchestra to the singers! The entire show was top-notch. John Cameron and Emmanuel Fonte are truly talented individuals who put on a fantastic performance! Great job to all involved!
