About

Canadian punk rockers Simple Plan are a Vans Warped Tour staple, having played there every summer from 1999 to 2005. In 2011, Simple Plan joined the Warped Tour once again treating ticket buyers to high-energy live concerts anchored by hits like "I'm Just a Kid," "I'll Do Anything," and "Shut Up!" The band's show has been recorded on two separate live albums: "Live in Japan 2002," during their sold out run there, and "MTV Hard Rock Live." Simple Plan returned with their fifth studio album "Get Your Head On!" in 2013, and it includes guest appearances from Mark Hoppus  of Blink 182 and Joel Madden of Good Charlotte.

Simple Plan is composed of childhood friends who got together in the early '90s under the moniker Reset before changing names and releasing their debut, "No Pads, No Helmets...Just Balls," in 2002. The Canadian rockers have won numerous awards at the MuchMusic Awards, Juno Awards, Teen Choice Awards and NRJ Music Awards. The band is also active in charitable efforts, such as MTV Asia Aid, MADD, RAAADD and Make-A-Wish Foundation, and launched their own non-profit in 2005 that focuses on teen problems like suicide and drug addiction. Simple Plan is a band that has survived nearly fifteen years of recording and touring in an industry not known for longevity. The group continues to do it with fantastic live sets and philanthropy.

    Awesome Concert Night!

by Miah on 5/28/22Seminole Hard Rock Tampa Event Center - Tampa

I loved seeing Simple Plan, Sum 41, and Set It Off! The all played amazing music and I got to meet my favorite band Set It off for the first time, as well see them and Simple Plan play live a second time since I had gone to Warped Tour. Even Sum 41 played my favorite of all of their songs! It was great!

    No words can explain

by Derrick on 5/21/22Uptown Theater - Kansas City

I haven't been to many shows (unfortunately) but out the handful I have seen the only one that comes close is Tool the crowd was awesome and the performance was absolutely outstanding

    Amazing

The energy was crazy, plus Sum 41 with them, all around throwback

Venue acoustics were trash. Simple Plan great and adjusted

by Techman on 5/21/22Uptown Theater - Kansas City

The opening band was good but sounds totally different at the concert than they do listening online or YouTube. The concert performance was significantly better. Sum 41 couldn't adjust for the extreme bass that was at the venue for some reason and seemed like they tried to make all of their songs metal which made it worse with the excessive bass. Simple Plan had a great performance

    AMAZING!!!!

by Kayleigh on 5/17/22The Fillmore Detroit - Detroit

Simple Plan gets better and better every time. The venue was incredible, the sound mixing was amazing and Simple Plan had so much energy on stage, I loved it. They played all of my favorite songs and their covers of Avril Lavigne, The Killers and Fall Out Boy were unexpected and absolutely incredible. What I wasn't expecting was how amazing Sum 41 would be. I went to the show for Simple Plan and I left as a Sum 41 fan. Their show was out of this world and absolutely jaw-dropping. I loved the stage set up, the light show and the energy of the band. I wish I could relive this night because it was truly incredible!!

    Great show!

by Aheit on 5/14/22The Fillmore Detroit - Detroit

I had a great time at the Simple Plan show! It was organized really well and all of the staff was kind and helpful. It really seemed like the safety of the guests was at the front and the staff was looking for any unsafe situations. The venue was clean and awesome!

    High Energy Concert

by lacmarine on 5/13/22The Fillmore Detroit - Detroit

So much talent and energy! Just an amazing experience with these guys who sounded just as good (if not better) than they did 20 years ago! Had an awesome time!

    Blame Canada Tour 🇨🇦

by Carly on 5/13/22The Fillmore Detroit - Detroit

This was probably one of the best shows I've ever been to! Set it Off was such a solid opener to the perfect throwback to the prime early 2000's pop punk days. Sum41 was everything I hoped for. They took me right back to my high school days. Simple Plan was killer! The interaction with the crowd. The setlist. It was all amazing. You could tell they genuinely love what they do. I can't wait to see them live again!

    I felt 13 again.

by Crystal on 5/13/22The Fillmore Detroit - Detroit

This show was a dream come true for my inner teenager. SP was my FAVORITE band in middle school and tbh still up there in faves. The show was phenomenal and I would definitely see them again given the chance. Sum 42 and Set It Off were also delightful. Good vibes 💯

The bands that were there were great

by Cody on 5/11/22The Fillmore Silver Spring - Silver Spring

Set it off and simple plan were fantastic! However, there were a few problems. Sum 41 pulled out less than 24 hours before the show (I hope theyre doing ok, i just wish everyone wouldve gotten more notice.) If you bought the sum 41 vip package (which includes merch and a general admission ticket), they were offering refunds. However, in order to get a refund, you had to go to the venue at the time of the show. Also, if you wanted a refund (for the 100 something dollar ticket you bought that included merch and a GA ticket] they wouldnt offer you a general admission ticket (for sale) and, being the day of the show, you couldnt buy a general admission ticket. I just think maybe things couldve been handled a little smoother.

awesome energy and a ton of fun

by Ryan BB on 5/8/22The Fillmore Silver Spring - Silver Spring

What a fun show. Set it off and simple plan, lost sum41 due to covid but the other two acts had plenty of energy and excitement to put on an awesome show. Great crowd too, singing along full volume to the DJ in between acts. Can't wait to see simple plan and Set it off again!

    Best night ever!!!

by Mack Attack on 5/8/22The Fillmore Silver Spring - Silver Spring

It was amazing!! As I walked up to the front of the bldg, it looked like a great awaits. The decor on the inside looked very rock and cool. I loved the set list by both bands, loved jumping around and getting into the music plus loved how close I was to be able to see the band without being in like a huge arena.

Tons of Energy, Lack of presence

    by T. S. on 5/7/22

The lead singer seems tired and bored of doing this. Although the energy is there, the passion seems gone. Also, don’t waste your time on Meet & Greet tickets; you’ll get to hear 20 year old songs that aren’t even theirs being played for “soundcheck” - AKA playing Mr. Brightside 12 times 🗿

    An excellent show!

by Mark D on 5/7/22The Fillmore Silver Spring - Silver Spring

They put on an excellent show when having to play a longer set last minute. They were meant to play with Sum 41, who had to cancel last minute due to lovely Covid so they played a longer set than expected. It was very enjoyable and I'm glad I opted to stay.

Great despite being one less band

by Lina on 5/7/22The Fillmore Silver Spring - Silver Spring

It was very unfortunate that Sum 41 was unable to play but Set It Off and Simple Plan made up for it with one heck of a show

    First Time

by CheeseHead on 5/3/22House of Blues Myrtle Beach - North Myrtle Beach

This was the first time I got to see Sum 41 and Simple Plan live. They did not disappoint. One of the better concerts I have gone to. The crowd however made parts of the performance drag. Sardines in a can for the most part as well as far as the GA area. It’s to be expected but felt way more people were in there then should have been. Overall great close venue and awesome concert.

    It’s was fun

by Me on 5/3/22House of Blues Myrtle Beach - North Myrtle Beach

I came too see Sum 41. I attempted to stay for Simple Plan, but I’m not a fan of their music. I get that it was a Canadian band tour, but I would have rather seen a truly more punk band. That’s just me. All the best to all bands that played.
