I've seen the original Pink Floyd, Roger Waters, the Australian Pink Floyd Show, BritFloyd and The Pink Floyd Experience...and now, Signs of Life. Though no band is going to be as good as the original, of the 4 tribute bands I've now seen...this show easily rounds out the bottom of the list. And they aren't even in the same league as BritFloyd or the Australian Pink Floyd Show. BritFloyd was, without question, the closest to the original Pink Floyd I've ever seen....Signs of Life actually had me wondering if they even knew which notes to play when they were performing. Often, me and the people I watched the show with were looking at each other in confusion wondering what in the world the band was playing...it would start out as a Floyd song, but then go off into something that clearly wasn't in any Floyd song I've ever heard. They completely butchered One of These Days to the point I nearly walked out. The only good thing was that the tickets were only $20.00....which is still overpriced in relation to the performance you get in return. I wouldn't suggest anyone paying more than ten dollars to see this show. The so called Light Show that accompanies the music was as weak as the performance. I will give them credit on Welcome to the Machine. They did a very good job on that one song...the rest of the show was novice at best. The 2 good reviews they've received so far is either from friends....or from someone that hasn't seen what a good Floyd show is really like. For only the 2nd time in my life....I left without seeing the encore. What a disappointment.
