  • Best Mandolin Player ever

by Cutie on 10/12/25Birchmere - AlexandriaRating: 5 out of 5

I believe that Sierra Hull is one of the top 5 mandolin players in the world. She just gets better and better. She did not play long enough at this concert. I do not agree that the gig should have been split 50/50 with John Craigie. Who ever thought that was a good idea???? Sierra is the star and should have been the headliner and had a lot more playing time. It was a great concert!

  • John Craigie & Sierra Hull pair like food and wine

by Yogi Brown on 10/12/25Birchmere - AlexandriaRating: 5 out of 5

I went to the show to see John Craigie and didn't know who Sierra Hull even was. Wow and I glad that I stuck around for the entire show. Sierra Hull and her band were fantastic. Loved that they brought John Craigie and his band back on stage during the encore performance. Also was my first time at The Birchmere in Alexandria, VA and my wife and I are excited to go back very soon. It's a great venue that offers free onsite parking and with full sit-down dinner and drinks experience. Very cool

She was only about 3-4 songs in before I felt really dumb for not owning every record she's ever put out! Which is to say; WHAT A GREAT SHOW!!!

by Mike on 3/4/25Jefferson Theater - CharlottesvilleRating: 5 out of 5

Sierra and her band were outstanding. Great songs and wonderful musicians. Sierra’s voice is so beautiful. The opener, Stephanie Lambring, was a great choice, too. Touching songs with good stories around them.
