About
Singer, songwriter, and producer Sid Simons (formerly GIRL SKIN) is about to release his sophomore album, following his self-produced and critically acclaimed debut record "Shade is on the other side." In late summer 2021, he and his bandmates recorded a new album with producer Gordon Raphael (The Strokes, Regina Spektor). The first singles from the new album are set to drop in the summer of 2022.
The music by Sid Simons is informed by his unorthodox life journey, which took him from Portland, to Australia, New York, Shanghai, and back to New York again and through a rambling, two-month-long road trip around North America instead of finishing high school.
The band is composed of Sid Simons (vocals, guitar), Wyatt Mones (lead guitar, vocals), Stanley Simons (bass), Octave Chouvet (keys), and Noah Boling (drums).
