Nation of Language Tickets

I love all of Nation of Language's music but this was my first time seeing them live, and they put on an amazing performance! Very engaged with the audience, fun vibe, and the music was even better live. Bowery Ballroom is very easy to access via public transportation, friendly staff, and the small space made the concert seem very personal.

Staff, as usual was exceptional, courteous and without attitude.

Never have more fun at a show than seeing Nation of Language live. Can’t not dance, sing, and bema with joy. The band knows how to connect with a crowd both with their music and between songs.

Lead singer has a great voice and writes and mixes some really great songs. Keyboard player basically pushes play on the tape deck drum machine and supplements with a bit of keyboards here and there. Bass player also plays along with another recorded bass track . Its all about the lead singer who has an amazing voice and I assume also writes the songs and does all the programing. Would like to see them fill out the band and play the entire thing live instead of accompanying a backup track, but the music is great and I really enjoyed the show.

NoL is worth going way out of the way to see live. And The Atlantis is a great new venue.

The Wants and Nation of Language both brought great energy and high quality talent to their performances. They were a wonderful re-entry to live music; having not seen any shows since the end of 2019. Kudos to these wonderful artists.
