Run time: 2 hours and 15 minutes including intermission. SHUCKED is recommended for ages 10+.

SHUCKED contains adult themes, moments of adult language and a harvest of corny innuendo.

  • Huge talent, but a forgettable show

by dpseattle on 11/11/25Paramount Theatre - SeattleRating: 3 out of 5

World class talent (really amazing vocals) and full of funny jokes and puns. Actually, too many one-line jokes that I found interrupted the narrative. Watching the show was more about waiting for the next one-liner than learning or caring about the characters. Unfortunately, the story, characters, and most of the songs were very forgettable. I've read that the touring production was changed from the Broadway version. And I heard the Broadway version was extraordinary. Not a great show, but I imagine, it was a ton of fun to be an actor in it. When they make the "Jr"version of it for high schools, it will probably be fun for kids to participate in.

  • Even Better Than Broadway

by Highland Ken on 11/11/25Paramount Theatre - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

Seeing Shucked was a great night out. Lots of laughs and excellent performances. I enjoyed it even more than when I saw Shucked on Broadway.

  • Starchy Romp

Shucked was by far one of the best musicals we have attended. We were not disappointed in the humor and music. The subtle lines definitely caught our attention and caused us to laugh out loud. The talent of the cast was fabulous. We didn't lose interest in the show and will definitely choose to buy tickets when it comes around again.

  • Not funny, audio issues, and boring songs

by Waste of money on 11/9/25Paramount Theatre - SeattleRating: 1 out of 5

First time we’ve ever left a broadway show early. From the very start the audio was off. It sounded like the house speakers were not working making the actors difficult to understand. I wish we would have listened to the music prior to purchasing tickets, the songs were uninteresting and had no emotional engine to the show. The one song that had an interesting hook was over in two minutes. Absolute waste of time and money.

  • It’s got the juice!

    by Amy A on 11/8/25Paramount Theatre - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

What a great musical! Humor through the show keeps you on your toes. Had me laughing from beginning to end. Who knew corn could be so funny.

  • Really funny!

by TXfolkie on 11/8/25Paramount Theatre - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

Honestly thought this would be kinda stupid since the whole premise is corn-y jokes. It is not stupid at all. It is smart corn-y humor with a lot of adult leaning jokes. It's one of the funniest shows I've seen in quite a while. Great talent and wonderful singers. Brandy and Shane did a really nice job on the songs.

  • Fantastic

One of the top Broadway shows I've seen so far. Hilarious, totally unexpected. When leaving the theatre, I heard many patrons expressing the same enthusiasm for the show. Well done.

  • Fantastic show with outstanding double entendre

The show was hilarious and professionally done. We had a wonderful time, and the venue was outstanding as always.

  • Humorous

This show was a delight of corny humor. Just what we as the audience needs at this dark time.

  • A new favorite

by Laura on 10/26/25Morrison Center for the Performing Arts - BoiseRating: 5 out of 5

Shucked was the cutest and punniest play! It was such a delight. From the acting, singing, and set design, I was completely captivated with it's charm. I am looking forward to seeing this play again the next time it's in town.
