Indian-born playback singer Shreya Ghoshal got her start at an early age when her mother taught her how to sing and pronunciate in the Bengali style. While continuing her music education Ghoshal released her debut album Bendhechhi Beena at only 14 years old to much acclaim, which sparked her rise within the Indian music community. Since then, the singing beauty has released 16 albums in six languages, won over 70 awards, and lent her voice for countless Bollywood films -- all by the age of 30. The famed songstress is sure to sing with the passion and charisma her audiences have come to know and love as she performs her collection of hits on an upcoming tour.

Shreya Goshal concert is the best I have seen. Do not miss if you get opportunity to see her. Show started on time and finished on time. Enjoyed all three hours.
I have been to many concerts over the years but this Shreya concert in Kansas City will definitely go down as one of the best! The talent of hers is obvious but the song choices were what made it amazing. It was about 60% her songs and 40% classic Bollywood songs. She was accompanied with a fabulous orchestra and EXTREMELY TALENTED singer Kinjal. Well worth the money if she is coming to your town!
Shreya Ghoshal is a great singer. I attended a live concert performace of hers a few years ago when she did a previous tour in the USA and it was wonderful. This time unfortunately the show was a snoozer. She sang well, but the problem is what she sang! It seems Ms Ghoshal was only interested in singing the songs she liked, not what would entertain the crowd. I also appreciate classics from the 50's, 60's and 70's... but the song selection for new hit songs was extremely lacking. Also, instead of trying to sing as many songs as possible by singing the main tracks, Ms Ghoshal sang every song in its entirety. Why do you have to sing the whole damn boring song? Why not sing the main parts of the most popular songs and sing as many as possible? Also, while the venue was really nice and sophisticated, the ushers and security was really strict about dancing in the aisles. The whole experience was a disappointment. If you want to go and sit for 3 and half hours listening to old songs from the 60's and fall asleep in your seat then great. Ms Ghoshal may be a great singer, but I think she has forgotten about how to entertain her audience...
She was not singing any of her songs but was singing other people songs. I bought the tickets as a gift for my wife and she was not happy after the concert. I am not much of a hindi music fan but I also did not like too many slow songs. She could have included a few fast songs.
Though I am familiar with her music, I couldn't see how it is possible to be on stage and sing so many songs that are so difficult to sing with such poise.
All that I expected from this concert. It started on time and my favorite songs were played.

Great artist! Good collection of old and new songs . There was some good energy in the middle of the show but that died out in few numbers. Not much of variety,
The show was supposed to start at 8pm. Despite the emcee announcing multiple times that the show is about to start and that there was not going to be an opening act, people still took their own sweet time and were still walking in at 8.30pm. There should be strict rules about such things. If a show is scheduled to start at 8, it's should start at 8, NOT AT 8.30. Despite that, this was my first concert at the Fox Theatre and I am so glad I went to see Shreya Ghoshal! She was amazing, entertaining and so, so lively! The band made it so much better. This was one hell of a show and I would go back in a heartbeat! Just make sure it starts at the stated time!
Shreya is a great singer and a valuable asset of Bollywood music industry. But something was off with her singing during this live performance. She looked different as well with her recent arrival of a child. Her voice gave up several times on some of her famous songs plus she is a far less of an entertainer compared to Sonu Nigam . Maybe our bar of performance was set too high for Shreya. The selection of songs was also very poor in our opinion. I am sure she has had better nights.
I felt like numbers were slow. Expected more. Last time was more fun.
ORCHESTRA WAS LOUD, POOR AND OUT OF SYNC AND DROWNED THE SILKY VOICE OF A GREAT SINGER. HER OWN SONGS WERE NOT SUNG WELL BUT SHE DID A GREAT JOB WITH LATA MAGESHKAR'S SONGS
It was my first event at fox theatre. Good seating arrangement and view.
Best ever concert I have attended. The concert was out of this world. Shreya's voice is like an angelic voice. Need more concerts to come to Detroit often.
Sound system was really bad. Some time too loud that we can't hear the lyrics
Shreya Goshal was mesmerizing and energetic! She captured the hearts of the whole audience, and got everyone involved in the show! Definitely worth it to see and experience the show!
Was hoping to listen to more of her own super hits than old songs of Lataji and Kishoreji, etc. No offense, they are unforgettable, but, the show was about Shreya Ghoshal's songs. However, her apparel was beautiful and she looked gorgeous!! Enjoyed her co-singer and wish him a bright future!!
Amazing singer, I wish there was more stage visual get up than the dull blank screen.
