SHINE ON: A Musical and Visual Tribute to Pink Floyd Tickets

The image of an eye formed from a galaxy is being used to promote this concert. I was expecting to see such imagery during the concert, but that did not happen. The images projected on the screen behind the band were dim and of poor quality, perhaps they were from the music video or something idk. Images drawn by the lasers were basic. Wearing the 3-D glasses actually made things worse and not better. Pink Floyd’s music is timeless, of course. And this band does an acceptable job of covering it. But I could have sat at home in the dark and listened to it on CD for free and had a better time. I went to this performance expecting amazing visuals to go along with the music and that expectation was not met.

The live band did a phenomenal job re-creating the best of Pink Floyd! Note for note, lick for lick, the musicians truly were top notch and amazing. The female vocalist absolutely nailed “The Great Gig In The Sky”, and the guitarist did an incredible job through and through, crushing the guitar solos exactly as they were written. Overall, the band really is what set this experience apart from other Pink Floyd Laser Show performances. The light show was cool, but as an avid musician I was more interested in watching the incredible performance unfolding unfolding in front of me from the musicians on stage. Would absolutely recommend for all Pink Floyd fans!

I didn't take any photos, but the show last night in Dallas was incredible. Shine On was spot on and super tight. The pace of the show was also spot on. I've seen Brit Floyd and Aussi Floyd several times, but this band's performance paired with that you have come to expect from the Laser Spectacular producers was beyond phenomenal. Highly recommend seeing Shine On with the Pink Floyd Laser Spectacular. Best versions of the entire album of Wish You Were Here that I've ever heard live. Same with Great Gig in the Sky. The female singer was perfect! And the musicians have played with the biggest names in the business. All world-class players. LOVED IT! What them on the laserspectacular.com website.
