About

The Wayans family is filled with talented members, so there is no surprise that the two youngest brothers, Shawn and Marlon Wayans, have followed in their family's footsteps as Hollywood icons. These two comedic prodigies have accomplished a lot in their relatively short careers so far.
Both Shawn and Marlon Wayans made their acting debut in 1989 in their brother Keenen Ivory Wayans' feature film "I'm Gonna Get You Sucka." Immediately following their feature film debut, they joined the cast of the Emmy Award winning comedy series, "In Living Color."
"The Wayans Bros." sitcom, which Shawn and Marlon created and starred in, was the first WB show to be sold into syndication after heading up the WB network lineup for five years.
Shawn and Marlon's past film credits include the hit comedy "Don't Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in The Hood," which they co-wrote, produced and starred in together. The movie was a comic spoof of the coming-of-age-in-the-hood movies and is a huge cult favorite.
More recently Shawn and Marlon starred in the box office hit, "Little Man" and "White Chicks," both of which they also co-wrote and produced. The brothers began co-writing this string of blockbusters with the smash "Scary Movie" where they also starred along side each other, and was directed by their brother Keenen Ivory Wayans. Co-written, produced and starring Shawn and Marlon Wayans, "Scary Movie 2" was the only sequel in the "Scary Movie" franchise with direct Wayans involvement. Shawn and Marlon were next seen on the big screen in "Dance Flick," the new comedy co-written with brother Keenen Ivory, which premiered in May, 2009.
Shawn and Marlon, along with their brothers and sisters, created "Thugaboo" and the subsequent "Boo Crew" animated specials for Nickelodeon, which began premiering in August, 2006. In addition to creating, the Wayans are also writing, directing and voicing the series which takes a humorous look at the trials and tribulations of nine inner city kids. TheBooCrew.com released in fall, 2009 and plans are underway to turn The Boo Crew into a daily comic strip. Marlon also starred in the 2009 blockbuster "G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra" where he played Ripcord, the G.I. Joe team HALO's jumper. When not producing and starring in hit movies or on the road performing standup, Shawn and Marlon can be found hard at work in the "lab" where the Wayans siblings are busy concocting their next project.

Don't go if you're white. The racist jokes never stopped. What a shame! I loved them all before going to this show. Did not feel welcome!

This show was truly entertaining! Laughed from the beginning to the end! I only had wished being 3 comedians that it had lasted just a bit longer. I would defiantly return again!

    VIP = worth it

by pclnsn on 2/21/18Cobb's Comedy Club - San Francisco

My mom and I saw Marlon last summer and got to see his big brother Shawn this past Sunday. For VIP, we had a meet & greet opportunity and a photo with him! Shawn is hilarious and great at accents. We also enjoyed Chaunte, his niece, open and MC for him.

    Shawn Wayans is amazing!!

by Giordan on 2/21/18Cobb's Comedy Club - San Francisco

Have loved his comedy since I was a kid, so grateful I got the chance to see him perform a standup show!! Only gave 4 stars because the venue was pretty cramped, though we were lucky enough to get a table, I left the show wishing I had spent the extra money to sit closer to the stage because he was interacting with the audience that was up close

    Shawn Wayans at Cobbs

by JimboNagasan on 2/20/18Cobb's Comedy Club - San Francisco

My wife and I are clearly not the target market (early 60's) for this comedian. We both felt that many of his jokes were degrading to women. And the ethnic humor could have been funny, but I felt much of it was too harsh to be funny.

Shawn was funny and his material was original. The material was well constructed but most importantly Shawn’s delivery made his jokes come alive.

    Good show!

by Salomon916 on 9/19/17Punch Line Comedy Club - Sacramento - Sacramento

Shawn brings it! If you want to laugh then go. The line was long and it was hot so we are glad we got the vip. That helped. Once inside, his sister Shawnta opened. She was funny too. Not a dull moment. Worth it.

Shawn put on a great show and the place was packed. And having his niece performance was an additional pleasure and she put on a great show too.

    Money better spent elsewhere

by Kdog101 on 2/21/17Mount Airy Casino Resort - Mount Pocono

The venue was intimate, but the seats were to closely jammed together. I had other people sitting on my lap. The opening act was much better than the headline.

    Was expecting much more laughs

by sun1shine on 2/21/17Mount Airy Casino Resort - Mount Pocono

It was okay. It seemed like he was testing material, so there were some laughs, but not enough.

    The Wayan Brothers are hysterical!!!

by Momof3inNevada on 7/7/13Mont Bleu Resort - South Lake Tahoe

I bought these tickets for my husband's birthday. It was 2.5 hours of non stop laughter. The whole venue never stopped laughing. This was so worth the money! I would definitely see them again. The opening act was just as funny and they make a great show.
