SHAWN MENDES IN CONCERT:
Up-and-coming pop singer-songwriter Shawn Mendes may have gotten his start posting six second covers to video sharing service Vine, but he's quickly become as impressive live as he is on screen. Hot off the heels of his 2014 debut single "Life of the Party", Mendes has proven his vocal and performance chops on the MAGCON tour, which features budding social media stars in concert. A talented new arrival with a debut album in the works, Mendes' star will continue to rise as he hits the road as a supporting act on Austin Mahone's summer 2014 tour.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Shawn Mendes was born in a Toronto suburb of Pickering in 1998. In 2013 he began posting cover snippets to video sharing site Vine, and within a few months he had amassed millions of followers who praised his prodigious vocal talents and boyish good looks. In early 2014 he won Ryan Seacrest's "Best 35 Covers" competition with his moving rendition of A Great Big World's single "Say Something", gaining exposure to countless new fans. Several months later his debut single "Life of the Party" landed at No. 24 on the Billboard Hot 100, making him the youngest artist ever to score a Top 25 hit on the chart. A precocious young talent with big things on the horizon, Mendes will continue to build his ever-growing fanbase on tour with Austin Mahone in summer 2014.

He was amazing! Made 20,000 in Bridgestone Arena feel like a very intimate performance. He is so talented and entertaining!! He was obviously enjoying every minute and so truly thankful to his fans. Everyone should see him! I am 49 y.o. Mom of 2 teen daughters and I enjoyed his show as much as they did!
It was amazing and unforgettable. Everyone was so pumped and excited.
shawn and charlie were so amazing!! they were so magical.
Absolutely the most amazing concert I have ever been to. He knows how to hype up the crowd while still showing off his spectacular voice. Songs are all completely live.
Shawn put on an amazing concert and I loved the Lexus Lounge!
High energy, as well as slower songs. Kept my interest the whole way! Also, thoroughly enjoyed when he switch stages and was closer to us.
Shawn mendes and Charlie puth were great, very kid friendly
Shawn sang great songs and the organisation of the show was great also the light show was spectacular. The only thing was that we got to the m&g at 2:30 and had to wait outside and in the rain for 1 hour or more. But we met Shawn in the end so we were very happy.
Shawn Mendes is a true talent. So impressed!! We hope to see him again!!

Shawn Mendes was amazing! The stage set and special effects we awesome as well!!
Anybody and everybody needs to attend a Shawn Mendes concert. His preformance only sends out good vibes and you can hear the passion in his voice. It's truly an experience everyone needs.
Both performers were good, however Charlie only performed 6-7 songs. I was disappointed because I really appreciate his musicianship. It felt like he had just come on stage, and he was getting off. Didn't even hear some of MY favorite songs from his current album. I would have rather heard Shawn sing, than the crowd. There was a little too much of "having the audience sing", especially since the person behind us couldn't carry a tune and was screeching the words. Lol
