About

Shakira is a Latin pop singer-songwriter from Barranquilla, Colombia. After signing with Sony Music Colombia at age 13, the star made a name for herself in Latin America with Spanish-language albums like Pies Descalzos (1995) and Dónde Están los Ladrones? (1998). In 2001, Shakira made her crossover debut with her fifth album Laundry Service, which peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 and spawned global hit singles “Whenever, Wherever” and “Underneath Your Clothes.” Throughout the 2000s, Shakira continued her crossover success with further radio smashes like “Hips Don’t Lie” featuring Wyclef Jean, the Beyoncé collaboration “Beautiful Liar” and “She Wolf.” Further LPs in Shakira’s discography include Fijación Oral, Vol. 1 (2005), Oral Fixation, Vol. 2 (2005), She Wolf (2009) and Shakira (2014). At the turn of the new decade, the singer co-wrote and recorded “Waka Waka (This Time For Africa),” the official song of the 2010 FIFA World Cup, and in 2020, she headlined the Super Bowl LIV halftime show alongside Jennifer Lopez. Shakira’s most recent studio set, Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran, was released in 2024.

  • What a Show!!

    by Claudia on 8/10/25Valley Children's Stadium - FresnoRating: 5 out of 5

Shakira puts on a great show! Any issues we had were with the venue itself but it was their first time putting on any kind of concert so it’s understandable. If you get a chance to go see Shakira I definitely recommend it!

  • Amazing

    by belunyc on 8/10/25Valley Children's Stadium - FresnoRating: 5 out of 5

Shakira always delivers. I saw her live many many times, and she has the energy, the charisma, the vocals and the dance. She’s a complete artist. Love her!!

  • Electric and explosive! 🔥

Shakira was very best magical and memorable experience for Fresno and Fresno State ever.! 👏🏼🇨🇴🔥🏟️🐾☺️

  • Misleading Seats

by Leonis on 8/10/25SoFi Stadium - InglewoodRating: 1 out of 5

FLA6 Row5 Seats were misleading due to stage setup. Seats in this section should have not been offered for sale. We never had a good view of Shakira. What was supposed to be a wonderful experience for my 4 daughters and myself was not . We watched the whole show thru the TV screen. We could have stayed home and watch it on TV. Many other people next to us and around us had the same bad experience. It was visible thru their body language and face. Hope seating arrangements are considered more carefully in the future.

  • Best concert ever. 🙌🙌🙌

by Dan the Man on 8/10/25Valley Children's Stadium - FresnoRating: 5 out of 5

Had an unexpected wait, but still well worth it. I would do it all over again in a heart beat. When she came down to greet the crowd I got to reach out and touch her hand. I absolutely love Shakira. Hopefully Fresno will be having more concerts like this. Can't wait for the next one. Thanks Live Nation!!! 🙌🙌🙌

  • Awful logistics

    by Thomas on 8/10/25Valley Children's Stadium - FresnoRating: 1 out of 5

Performance itself was great. Issue was the event planners. We bought floor seats but they kicked us out of the floor seats because we didn't have wristbands, only issue was the event planners were the ones that ran out of wristbands at the entrance. People rushed the gates and were allowed to enter the floor without any wristbands, but were then not allowed to sit at their seats without one if they went to the concessions/restrooms. Didn't matter if we showed our tickets, if you didn't get a wristband before they ran out you were screwed.

  • Best Concert

    by Yesenia on 8/10/25Valley Children's Stadium - FresnoRating: 5 out of 5

Shakira’s show is fantastic! I saw her 20 years ago and it’s as if not a year has gone by. She is an amazing performer who gives 2 hours of non stop energy. I saw her twice in this same tour and both times were superb and worth every penny.

  • OUTSTANDING

    by Maybelline on 8/10/25Valley Children's Stadium - FresnoRating: 5 out of 5

Shakira and her crew were outstanding! The singing, dancing and theatrical screen was tastefully assembled. Fresno State has some kinks to work out, but a great venue.

  • Shakira amazing, seats terrible

    by Christian on 8/10/25Valley Children's Stadium - FresnoRating: 2 out of 5

Shakira is phenomenal! So glad to have seen her. Unfortunately the front row seats had a terrible view and a row of speakers in our face unbearably loud. We had to leave our seats and find some other location to watch the concert less than 5 minutes in.

  • Great concert…terribly organized by the stadium

    by Val on 8/10/25Valley Children's Stadium - FresnoRating: 4 out of 5

Shakira was amazing!! Getting into the venue was hectic and not organized whatsoever. Given that Shakira is a huge artist it could of been better organized.

  • It was a super concert!!!

    by Cat on 8/10/25Valley Children's Stadium - FresnoRating: 5 out of 5

Everything, from parking, vendors, line entrance, for us was perfect. We were there early, not last minute!!

  • Spectacular

    by Mar on 8/10/25Valley Children's Stadium - FresnoRating: 5 out of 5

  • An Unforgettable First Concert Experience

    by Elias on 8/10/25Valley Children's Stadium - FresnoRating: 5 out of 5

My first concert experience was with Shakira, and it was truly unforgettable. The energy she brought to the stage was incredible, and her performance was flawless from start to finish. The lighting and visual effects were stunning, perfectly complementing each song and creating an immersive atmosphere. It was an amazing night filled with music, artistry, and unforgettable moments.

  • Best in Fresno

    by Yesenia on 8/10/25Valley Children's Stadium - FresnoRating: 5 out of 5

Spectacular concert, best ever , i am so glad I went. Shakira is the best!! When you have an opportunity you must attend a Shakira concert

  • Performance was great, venue horrible

    by Omar on 8/10/25Valley Children's Stadium - FresnoRating: 4 out of 5

Shakira’s performance was great, no complaint about her. The venue organization was horrible, concert started before a lot of people was able to get in. The only reason people made it at the end was because the staff stopped checking tickets at the entrance and they weren’t checking people either, by the time I got in, Shakira was on her fourth song, and my seats were taken already for some other people. Host were just standing there not directing o}people to their seats. Parking was bad as well, and they didn’t even check tickets to see who paid and ho didn’t.

  • The disorganization at the entrance was the worst.

    by Felix on 8/10/25Valley Children's Stadium - FresnoRating: 5 out of 5

The concert and performance by Shakira were top of the line; the lights, sound, and energy were just amazing. There's a lot of room for improvement at the organizational level, and I know they'll do better next time.

  • The show was amazing

    by Dlawrence on 8/10/25Valley Children's Stadium - FresnoRating: 5 out of 5

Shakira was absolutely amazing, even though lines were hectic when entering. Concert goers were being impatient to get inside but was able to find my seats and be sat before the show began. I believe next time when booking huge musical acts that to have multiple entrances open to help with the congestion of traffic coming into the stadium but overall for your first time hosting a concert here was not bad and like I said Shakira was absolutely fantastic and so amazing definitely was an honor to have been her last stop of her North American tour , can’t wait to see what is yet to come

  • Shakira Shakira baby!!!

    by Maricruz on 8/10/25Valley Children's Stadium - FresnoRating: 5 out of 5

Wow all I have to say is Shakira can put on a show. We arrived at 7 and were in by 7:30, found our seats right away. We had an amazing experience. And Shakira was amazing overall a 10/10 experience

Loved her concert. Worth the long lines. She delivered an exceptional show.
