About

Shakira is a Latin pop singer-songwriter from Barranquilla, Colombia. After signing with Sony Music Colombia at age 13, the star made a name for herself in Latin America with Spanish-language albums like Pies Descalzos (1995) and Dónde Están los Ladrones? (1998). In 2001, Shakira made her crossover debut with her fifth album Laundry Service, which peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 and spawned global hit singles “Whenever, Wherever” and “Underneath Your Clothes.” Throughout the 2000s, Shakira continued her crossover success with further radio smashes like “Hips Don’t Lie” featuring Wyclef Jean, the Beyoncé collaboration “Beautiful Liar” and “She Wolf.” Further LPs in Shakira’s discography include Fijación Oral, Vol. 1 (2005), Oral Fixation, Vol. 2 (2005), She Wolf (2009) and Shakira (2014). At the turn of the new decade, the singer co-wrote and recorded “Waka Waka (This Time For Africa),” the official song of the 2010 FIFA World Cup, and in 2020, she headlined the Super Bowl LIV halftime show alongside Jennifer Lopez. Shakira’s most recent studio set, Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran, was released in 2024.

  • Seats not as advertised

by Shakira Fan on 8/13/25Valley Children's Stadium - FresnoRating: 1 out of 5

Chart showed seats in front of stage(F5 Row1) at event, stage was not as described, view blocked by equipment, no clear view of artist, seats are in front of screen and large speakers caused painful bass noise. Stage map completely misleading!

  • Unorganized concert

    by Yolanda H on 8/13/25Valley Children's Stadium - FresnoRating: 3 out of 5

The concert was a lot of fun. But the procedure to enter an exit. This concert was a horrible disaster. It was chaotic and there was no organization.

Shakira rocks! Great show! Will definitely see her again.

  • The sides seats are terrible to watch comfortably

by Yvonne on 8/12/25SoFi Stadium - InglewoodRating: 4 out of 5

I loved the concert. But for people who were sitting on the far side, we couldn’t see! The hanging speakers made it hard to see. We all thought that the big screens should hang been turned on.

Shakira's LMYNL tour was even better than I expected. I knew she would put on an amazing show. And boy did she! I loved that the playlist spanned from the earliest of her albums to LMYNL album. She is an amazing dancer, performer and singer. Thank you! Thank you, Shakira!

  • Worst Fresno experience!!

    by Yolanda on 8/12/25Valley Children's Stadium - FresnoRating: 5 out of 5

It was my first time in Fresno stadium every thing was sketchy. I had go inside the venue an hour late due to very expensive parking and no free parking. When I finally got inside they didn't even check my ticket they just let me go in. What was the point of even purchasing a ticket. It looked like they were already paking up ready to go. If it wasn't for the music and people walking around it looked like it was over.

  • Horrible experience

    by Silvi on 8/12/25Valley Children's Stadium - FresnoRating: 1 out of 5

Unorganized event, outdoor event with extreme temperatures. Most horrible event ever, will gladly take a full refund back.

  • Shakira A+/venue F

    by Sandra on 8/11/25Valley Children's Stadium - FresnoRating: 5 out of 5

No near by parking available, roads closed surrounding the venue. Forced to part 1 mile away with a $40 fee and walk to the venue. Shuttles were nowhere to be seen. Extremely long line to get into venue. Once inside and seat event ran smoothly. Artist was incredibly and put on a 2 hour show. Would not attend another event at Valley Children's Stadium.

  • A night I will never forget

    by Mely on 8/11/25Valley Children's Stadium - FresnoRating: 5 out of 5

Shakira's concert could not have been more perfect. Way better than the El Dorado Tour. A mix of old and new songs from every one of her albums. The best thing was the choreography, top notch. The production was beautiful, not too much, just enough. The sound was great, just spectacular. This was the last of the North American Tour and she was dancing like she was fresh and at 100% energy.

  • Amazing experience

    by Marlow on 8/11/25Valley Children's Stadium - FresnoRating: 5 out of 5

The concert was to start at 7:30 PM. Me and my other two guests did arrive at 5:30 PM, giving us enough time to get in line. There was a delay, due to unseen circumstances. Which actually wasn’t bad. Once we got in, we were able to easily retrieve food, drinks, get to our seats. One Shakira did hit the stage, it was magic for two hours. I’ve never seen a big-time concert act. Thank you to Shakira for coming into Fresno, California. I would definitely attend another concert at Valley children’s Stadium. That was there first one, there was a snagger two, however, I was not affected. I appreciated the entire experience.

  • Great Performance

    by BillK on 8/11/25Valley Children's Stadium - FresnoRating: 5 out of 5

It was the first time anyone has performed in the football stadium so the security lines were over an hour long. But the parking was certainly better organized than the Vegas concert on this tour. Shakira was great, brought a lot of positive energy to the stage.

  • Shakira was Amazing!

    by Maria on 8/11/25Valley Children's Stadium - FresnoRating: 5 out of 5

Getting inside the venue was VERY challenging as I’m sure everyone has already mentioned, but once inside I quickly forgot about it the minute Shakira started performing . She gave an incredible performance and her energy was so contagious. The concert was sold out and it was just amazing to see thousands and thousands of fans of all ages singing along and dancing. I have to say that the whole experience, music, lighting and costumes was just beautiful and very well organized. This was my first time seeing Shakira perform live and trust me, she does not disappoint!!

  • Shakira was great but the organization was a disaster

    by Miri on 8/11/25Valley Children's Stadium - FresnoRating: 4 out of 5

The Shakira show was spectacular. However, the organization was a complete disaster. The event organization was absolute chaos — there was no traffic control, no police presence, no emergency vehicles, and the long lines to get in caused people to arrive late. The staff had no knowledge of seat locations, and everything was disorganized. The organizers were clearly not prepared for the event.

  • Great!

    by Billy on 8/11/25Valley Children's Stadium - FresnoRating: 4 out of 5

The concert was amazing! Shakira is so talented and her beauty just radiates! As far as the venue and everyone’s concerns with organization, I can disregard. Everyone knows how hectic it gets during football season when there’s games. Shouldn’t expect any different for concerts. If anything it was the actual fans who made it unorganized. People were cutting like crazy and piling up at the entrances. Right when we got to the front, this huge group pushed their way infront of us and ignored security and got through which made others really upset. Get in line, get your bags checked, scan your tickets and you’re on your way. It was so simple but too many people got there late all around the same which created this eagerness to get inside and made it chaotic on the staff. The only thing I would say however is, perhaps adding more security at the entrances or having a couple of the other entrances open as they do for games would have helped control the crowd and moved lines much faster.

  • Great concert, terrible organizatin

    by Laura on 8/11/25Valley Children's Stadium - FresnoRating: 3 out of 5

The concert was great, we had a great time during the event. The venue however, was not ready for an event of this size. We had to wait over an hour in traffic to get to the parking and missed the start of the show because of it. We saw big lines of people trying to get into the arena while the show was already on. Being a world tour of a global artist that had sold out, the venue should have been ready to organize the traffic and the fans entry.
