  • Amazing Time with Amazing Performance

by Nofty on 8/3/24Rating: 5 out of 5

Shaboozey showed up a little late to the Spiedie Fest in Binghamton, NY on August 2nd but it was not big deal because he delivered a couple songs from old catalogs and all songs from the album delivering amazing performances on all of them. He did Tipsy twice and each one brought loads of amazing different energy. But he switched up between sad songs and turnt songs in a way that was amazing and I have nothing but amazing things to say. If he comes back to upstate NY I will be there.

Same thing happened at the taste of country in Buffalo, New York last night six 2124 was slated to go on at 6:50. Didn’t come on till 7:40 played tipsy four times in the row then left. Completely weird

  • Opener DJs played the same set for 3 hours

by NE on 6/4/24The Grand (Boston) - BostonRating: 1 out of 5

The event was billed as "Country Club at the Grand."We arrived at 10pm, door at 9:30, to find an opener DJ who was not listed on the bill. They proceeded to push play on a monotonous playlist of redlined remixes of not even beat-matched Top 40s songs from 15 years ago. This went on until about 11:45, at which point the actual opener came on, who turned out to be another DJ, with somehow even louder and worse remixes of the same songs. Even our earplugs couldn't save us. We must have heard Avicii's Levels twice and Nicki Minaj's Starships at least three times. This purgatory at 130dB continued to assault us, while barely conscious waitresses in uncomfortable looking leotards and string-lights adorned cowboy hats carried misspelt marquees bearing the words "Your a star Kirsten", and pictures of someone's presumably deceased grandfather was tiled at 20 feet across the wall to wall screens. The club's hours stated that it closed at 2am, so by 1am we decided to leave, having had enough of the same repeated playlist and no Shaboozey.

  • Unclear what happened

    by Beppp11 on 6/4/24The Grand (Boston) - BostonRating: 1 out of 5

Show was slated to start at 9:30, but hey it’s a club, I figured he would be on in an hour maybe two tops. I waited until 12:30 then called it. Friend of mine who stayed said he ended up coming on at 1:30. Not sure what happened it might have been club rules.
