SEVENTEEN on Tour
Are they a boy band or a small militia? Even for K-pop, a genre known for its large ensembles, SEVENTEEN's size is big: 13 full-time members vie for space on each track — and in each video. But that surfeit of talent isn't a weakness. If anything, it's made this cheerful, shambling group insanely productive and versatile. Since their 2015 debut, they've released a small tsunami of EPs and a handful of LPs, and the members have become a driving force creatively. Their biggest inspiration? The urbane but still appropriate sounds of ‘90s hip-hop and R&B. These guys swagger, but underneath that toughness, they love a good pop hook, which makes them extremely fun to see live. The band undertook their first Asian tour, Shining Diamonds, in 2016. Just a year later they were on their first world tour, Diamond Edge, followed by 2018's Ideal Cut. In 2019 they returned to the road for the Ode to You world tour.
SEVENTEEN in Concert
The group, like most K-pop boy bands, came together under the auspices of a label — in this case, Pledis Entertainment. They learned the craft of entertainment in a low-profile way over several years and, in 2015, scored a monthlong reality TV show on MBC called Seventeen Project: Debut Big Plan. Then, after a debut showcase on live TV, the group went pro, quickly launching their first EP, 17 Carat. A certain amount of creative control was baked in from the outset: on Seventeen Project, the group was subdivided into hip-hop, vocal and performance "units." The idea was that, with enough training, the group would become a self-producing outfit — writing songs, choreographing and producing. The group's deft blend of ‘90s hip-hop, R&B and pop has won them legions of fans, as well as awards, including best new artist awards from the Seoul Music Awards, Gaon Chart K-Pop Awards and Golden Disk Awards. Billboard even named them one of Music's Hottest Young Stars Under 21 in 2015.

I was in section 111 and had an amazing view, and seeing ot13 is top tier. Highly recommend and I will be going back next tour!

by bela🐰 on 2/23/23when i tell you i have never been to a more exciting and fun and interactive concert, i mean it. seventeen is now my ult group, but walking into the concert, i was sure that this would be my farewell to kpop. a nice goodbye concert, if you will. BOY WAS I WRONG. the talent, the visuals, the comedy, the performance, the vocals, the subunit songs, everything was so so perfect. i had so much fun, and i don’t know if anything will top that experience. if they come back to wheee i live, i WILL get barricade tickets because these men are my LIFELINES. anyways stan seventeen for a better life, and GO TO THEIR CONCERTS IF YOU EVER GET THE OPPORTUNITY💗

by M. B. on 2/17/23Seventeen is one of my ult groups and I am so thankful I was able to see them in Atlanta. I was pretty sad that Hoshi and Joshua (them being my biases) were not able to perform, but health is always more important. I was able to get good seats for a decent price, but next time if they tour, hopefully I’ll be able to get floor seats, or seats closer. I cried so much at the end and even the day after the concert because I could not believe I saw my ult. It was the most happiest experience. I hope I will get to see them again OT13 one day. ❤️

I got to hear songs from their new album and also from their old and it’s so fun to get aju niced in person multiple times haha I hope to see them again soon

by R. B. on 2/12/23The best concert I’ve ever been to. It’s high energy from start to finish. They looked so gorgeous and sang and danced amazing. I saw them at the Toyota Center and it was a nice venue. You could tell SVT loves being on stage and performing for their Carats.

Outstanding!!! They always put 100% into their performance!! Seventeen has great energy and are always super funnnn😍💗💗 I never expected them to come to Seattle/ Washington State!!! Crazyyyy!! I hope they come here again!!!
