About

Sessanta is a special 2024 concert tour with Puscifer, Primus and A Perfect Circle in celebration of singer Maynard James Keenan’s 60th birthday. Each of the 18 shows on the U.S. trek will feature all three bands on stage at once with a number of special guests helping the Tool, Puscifer and A Perfect Circle frontman welcome in his sixth decade. Each group will have its own distinctive set, but players from all three alt-metal acts will join in, rotate and surprise as the evening unfolds. Billed by Keenan as "kind of like 'We Are the World' without the bleachers and plastic surgery," Sessanta is also a resurrection and evolution of Cinquanta: the one-night-only Los Angeles event that rang in Keenan’s 50th birthday in 2014.

    Fantastic Format!

by Nikki on 4/12/24Ameris Bank Amphitheatre - Alpharetta

I absolutely LOVED that all the bands rotated playing back and forth. I hope more shows do this format in the future instead of the traditional "opening bands, middle band, and headlining/closing band". It was so awesome to see the other bands enjoying watching other performances while they waited to play again themselves! Happy Birthday MJK! So glad I got to be a part of it!!

    Must see event

by nanecchi on 4/12/24Ameris Bank Amphitheatre - Alpharetta

It was an amazing show although the camera policy left much to be desired I can understand why they did it. The performance was amazing. Amphitheater itself was big enough to fit everyone, and on top of that you could see the stage really well wherever you were standing. Everyone did such a good job and I’m so happy I was able to go.

Two of the best winemakers at their other job(s). What can you say as its MJK and Les Claypool on the stage for 3hrs

    Music good location not

by Ultra MK on 4/12/24Ameris Bank Amphitheatre - Alpharetta

The artistry and music couldn’t be beat. However, I would likely never attend another concert at Ameris Bank Amphitheater, unless it were something truly special: Parking situation caused me to miss 2 songs and I arrived an hour before the show.

    60 is the new 40!

by Staley on 4/12/24Ameris Bank Amphitheatre - Alpharetta

What a show!!!! I have loved Primus and Tool since my grunge days of Lollapalooza from the early ‘90s. Not sure how Maynard keeps up with three bands. He must never sleep! So much talent on that shared stage! Simply superb! PS I’m 60 in June. 😎

    INCREDIBLE

by Stephanie on 4/12/24Ameris Bank Amphitheatre - Alpharetta

The concert was amazing. All three bands were incredible and it felt like a once in a lifetime opportunity. I traveled from Florida and the trip was absolutely worth it. Maynard James Keenan is a master and it’s always an honor to watch him perform. It was purely magical.

    Awesome show!!

by Cam on 4/12/24Ameris Bank Amphitheatre - Alpharetta

I’ve seen Maynard with Tool, APC and Puscifer close to 100 times and this was one of the best. Music and vocals are always phenomenal but I enjoyed him working the stage and having fun. This show had a different feel than most I’ve been too.

    An amazing show

by catmeun on 4/11/24Coastal Credit Union Music Park at Walnut Creek - Raleigh

We drove from Massachusetts to North Carolina to see the three groups play (the East Coast tickets weren't posted before buying our tickets). Worth every mile we drove :) The bands played beautifully together. Pusifer was a very entertaining and lively group and I'm going to really listen to all their albums now. Primus rocked it with it's thumping beats and eclectic base. A Perfect Circle. What can I say? Wow. Wow, wow, wow. Just amazing and my husband and I are so thankful we made the trip. Thank you for the Sessanta Tour. I'll look forward to the Settanta Tour in 10 years!

Amazing show but sound needs work

by Paul on 4/11/24Coastal Credit Union Music Park at Walnut Creek - Raleigh

As always, Puscifer put on a great show. First time seeing APC and Primus and both were also incredible. Unfortunately, whoever was running the sound failed these outstanding musicians. Vocals were consistently too low, overall quality was mediocre. Again, this was an amazing show with some of the best musicians out there. Poor sound mixing should not happen! Please get someone with the skills appropriate to these bands.

    Amazing show!!

by Sarita on 4/11/24Premier Theater at Foxwoods Resort Casino - Mashantucket

This show was absolutely amazing from start to finish!! I'm so grateful for Maynard's no-phone policy, as it really makes a HUGE difference in being able to fully immerse yourself into the music!! All of the bands were incredible, and them jamming together blew me away - especially all 3 drummers having a drum-off!! High energy and lots of fun, I never wanted the night to end!! The only complaint I have is that the Foxwoods Theatre had WAY too few people working concessions - we spent half an hour in line each time, just for snacks & drinks. There were quite a few bars, and there was plenty of room to have 3 times the bartenders working - Foxwoods dropped the ball on that, causing us to miss a couple of great songs that we wanted to hear. Other than that, everything was amazing!

    Incredible!!!

by Tami on 4/10/24Coastal Credit Union Music Park at Walnut Creek - Raleigh

One of the best shows I have ever been to, and I have been to a lot of concerts. All 3 bands rotating was great, and then they all played together which was just incredible. All 3 bands blew my mind, my favorite being Puscifer. Once in a lifetime event and I'm so glad I was there!

    An awesome experience

by Awesome Opossum on 4/10/24Coastal Credit Union Music Park at Walnut Creek - Raleigh

The parking was close together but really easy with the guides to know where to go. The concert went great with just a few stutters on the screens. Depending on where you stood or sat down the audio mix seemed off though. The singer and guitar was loud but the bass and especially drum set were real hard to hear. Of course the food and water was out of this world expensive and they open the cans (of water or anything) when you buy them which sucks if you didn’t want to worry about spilling it or were wanting to drink it later. There was lots of room on the lawn and it was pretty dry considering how much it rained. There was no trash or anything on it either which is sweet. Overall I’d definitely come again but I would get seating a lot closer to the stage and close to the middle.

    Trifecta

by Benny on 4/10/24Hard Rock Live at Etess Arena - Atlantic City

Given the formula of this show was more a product of the performers than the venue I still gave this a 5. Primus, Puscifer and A Perfect Circle were incredible. The way the three bands intertwined and performed together left for less down time.
