    Rip off

by Dave R. on 2/14/23NRG Arena - Houston

The show was entertaining and the kids loved it. However, a hand held bubble blower was $43.00. A small plastic cup with a few cookies was $20. A plastic cup (that leaks everywhere due to cheap lid design) with lemonade was $20. Crazy.

    Worth it

by Tay on 2/14/23NRG Arena - Houston

Bought tickets for myself husband 3yr old and 9yr old. My 3yr old of course loved the show and we loved that they sang songs from the actual episodes! At first my 9ye old was mad we made her tag along but she ended up enjoying herself as well lol. Only down side is we bout of little one a light up Abby wand that was $50! Kind is steep!

    Fun show

    by Reamummy on 2/13/23

It was a very good show that kept the kids entertained the whole time! It was very interactive and lively! My 5 year old loved it! The kids were able to move around and dance which was a plus! Make sure to have your coins became those souvenirs are pricey! $20 for a cup with a box juice?! Ridiculous! Thankfully my girl only wanted the $6 popcorn!

    Too expensive

    by Yaya08 on 2/13/23NRG Arena - Houston

Seats were normal party chairs in tje middle of an arena of cement...the view was good and also the show but seemed expensive more because we were 10 seats from price difference...made no sense

    LoveLoveLove!

by Heather and Katy on 2/13/23NRG Arena - Houston

My daughter is 22 years old with Down syndrome and Autism. We have been to Sesame Street Live every year for the past... 10-15 years??? It is the single best day of every year for her and the joy on her face melts the hearts of everyone who sees it. Thank you for this. With love from Elmo's Biggest Fan, Katy. :)

    The whole family loved it!

by Rachel Lieu on 2/6/23Fox Theatre Detroit - Detroit

I got originally wanted to take my almost 2 year old, then my 9 year old wanted to go too. I was a little concerned she might be too old but we all grew up as PBS kids and watching Sesame Street. We all LOVED it! Before the show they had a very fun Q&A with the puppet Maya. It was interactive and helped to fill the time and keep the kids happy while waiting for the show to start. The website said we could go to our seats 30 mins prior to the show starting but that was delayed for some reason, maybe the meet and greet? So we were all waiting in a small area. I attribute that more to the venue but idk the logistics. We weren’t able to head in until about 10 mins til showtime. Surprisingly a lot of folks come in late. Even 30 mins past showtime. That’s super annoying but again can’t be controlled. The story of the show was awesome. The actors were engaged and having fun. Almost all the favorites scenes from Sesame Street were part of the show. 40, 9 and almost 2 and we all LOVED it. 🤣 I can’t wait to take the family again! There are many options for kids live shows these days but I think Sesame Street is the way to go. They are puppets on the show and live. It’s hard to turn cartoons into a live show.

A Wonderful Time at Sesame Street Live!

by Reli & Mami on 1/31/23Fox Theatre Detroit - Detroit

My 3 year old and I both had a great time! We got to meet Cookie Monster, Big Bird and Elmo!! We really wished we could’ve met Abby Cadabby as well, but maybe next time… I can say as a parent who hasn’t been since being a child it was very rewarding to see my child enjoy something I was once able to enjoy before. We enjoyed everything from the show to the toys and treats!

    Nice

It was nice just to pricey for food and toys 80 dollars for a small toy that they will break the same day

Show is great, concessions are not.

by Nina on 1/31/23Fox Theatre Detroit - Detroit

Being a family of 4, we already know that it's going to cost quite a bit to take the family out to see a show like this. The show itself was spectacular. I would do it again in a heartbeat because my children had such a great time. The concessions and souvenirs were outrageously priced for what you were getting. The popcorn we bought was very stale and bland. It ended up in the trash. The cookies were mediocre. The only thing that made those purchases a little better was that it came with Sesame Street related stuff (a tiny reusable bag with the popcorn and small cookie monster bucket with the cookies.) I would expect the quality to be a bit better since they are charging $20 for a small bag of popcorn. The toy guitar I bought my son stopped working before we even left and we had to exchange it. For $38 for a toy guitar, I'm disappointed it stopped working so soon. All in all, I would do it again, but i would make sure we eat before the show and bring our own Sesame Street toys.

    okay but def.not great

by 2yrOldGrlMama on 1/30/23Fox Theatre Detroit - Detroit

this show was definitely not what i expected. i have been to several children's shows at the Fox, and this was the worst. It wasn't any fault of the venue, it was Sesame Street. The show seemed to be all over the place. My child barely watched it, she was more focused on the people walking to their seats. This was also the most expensive show as far as souvenirs. $50 for a bubble wand!? I will definitely be back to the Fox, but never back to a sesame street show. Save your money and wait for the next show and take your kid to Chuckie Cheese; they will enjoy that more.

    Fun experience and well choreographed

    by R. M. on 1/25/23Desert Diamond Arena - Glendale

The show was very fun and bright. My three-year-old had a really good time singing and dancing along to the show. The meet and greet tickets were worth it and the cast will take pictures for you with your device. My daughter was able to hug the characters and I was able to jump in the pictures with her. The Sesame Street cast choreography was exceptional and fun to watch.

    Great show

by Lee on 1/25/23Fox Theatre Detroit - Detroit

I believe the show could have been a bit longer. The souvenirs were overpriced, but overall it was a good interactive show for the children.

    Overall good experience

by Desi on 1/25/23Fox Theatre Detroit - Detroit

Overall everything was good the show was enjoyable & my kids had a great time my only complaint is that the meet and greet was not handicap accessible and was not noted anywhere prior to purchase that it was not accessible. Luckily a staff member helped me on stage However for families that have members that are not able to transfer this would create a inconvenience to them not having prior knowledge of the barrier.

    Great Show, poor merchandise

by Jab on 1/24/23Fox Theatre Detroit - Detroit

We loved the Sesame Street Live Show! It was well performed and engaging. The magic tricks had my kids in awe. The merchandise however was overpriced and the food they were selling (popcorn & cotton candy) were stale and expensive. Not to mention they were packed full of Aweful Ingredients. The drinks were all sugary and had to be purchased with a cup that was not very kid friendly. Go for the show, but eat before hand and stick to water.
