    Amazing show for my toddler!!

by Eturn8611 on 5/15/17Palace Theatre Columbus - Columbus

I thoroughly enjoyed the show with my toddler. She had a great time dancing and singing. She got to hug a couple of characters which made her day. I wish I would have known about the meet and greet. I would have been willing to pay for that.

Took our 17 month old. He loved it! Only concern we had was volume, seemed very loud. Venue was great and show was fun!

    Cute show

    by Ness81185 on 5/6/17Landmark Theatre - Syracuse

Was family friendly and super cute. The music was modern and the dancing was good. They had a cannon with streamers which was fun. Being in the front they interact with the kids so cute.

This was the first time we took our 3 and 1 year old to something like this. We did not expect much. The set up was cute and colorful, the music was danceable and our kids loved every minute of it.

    Not worth it

by MamaKatieG on 5/5/17Landmark Theatre - Syracuse

The price of the seat I was in (ROC row H) was about $40. It was near enough to the stage that we could see clearly but not close enough that the characters coming out into the audience would be near us. The speakers were way too loud. This is an event for children and that should have been taken into account before they tried deafening everyone in the audience. The show itself was ok. My daughter (18 months) enjoyed the singing and dancing but by the second half of the show was just done with it and wanted to go home. Not worth the money for the ticket and we won't be going to another one if it is going to be so loud.

Music way too loud, story did not engage child

by JoetheGOM on 5/5/17Landmark Theatre - Syracuse

What a disappointment. We took our two year old grandson to this show, and he's been to shows like this before and usually is laser focused on what is going on. This time he got bored with it and only paid intermittent attention. A large part of the problem was that everything, but especially the music, was extremely overamplified. As an adult, I found the sound level borderline dangerous to my hearing and it was so bad that I could only understand the dialogue half of the time, at most. It is no small surprise that small children could not follow the story. The story itself was kind of lame and I think if they turned the sound down to about 1/3 of the level they used, young children might still not care for it that much. In fact, our grandson, at intermission, said, "No more music!" And this comes from a child who loves to sing and dance. I won't bring my grandson to another production by this company.

    Too much

    by Duran1 on 5/5/17Landmark Theatre - Syracuse

Too much content back to back. Too fast. Slow down so kids can process. Take more breaks to talk to kids quick and then transition.

Find YOUR way to Sesame Street!

by 2Mama9614 on 5/4/17The Palace Theatre Albany - Albany

My 2 year old loved the show, as did the kids all around us who were singing, dancing and clapping along. The cast and props were energetic and vibrant. Show had young children in mind, including an intermission for potty breaks and snacks...good overall length, and nice family event.

    As expected

by ToddlersMommy on 5/4/17The Palace Theatre Albany - Albany

My toddler was up and dancing so they did a good job at entertaining. I thought the cost was reasonable until we got hit with the surcharges. For that price, we can go visit sesame place for the whole day and see those shows. Highly disappointed that they charged $10 for a balloon at intermission (I did not purchase) than told all the kids to keep them held down for the second half.

    Ok

by Sosoiguess on 5/3/17The Palace Theatre Albany - Albany

This is a show for very young children so it should be conducted as such. There should not be long wait times to be seated or purchase a souvenir. The ushers should not bring people to their seats with flashlights after the show started. It was distracting and annoying. Everyone else is on time but had to be inconvenienced? This should be managed better. The show could have been much more interactive and the second part of the show was a bit boring. It was focused on a character that does not exist and my toddler was not interested.

Good... Not as good as last year!!

by Michellelc44 on 5/2/17The Palace Theatre Albany - Albany

Ordered the same isle seats as last year. Our girls were very excited to dance at their seats and shake the characters hands as they came up the isle again. To our disappointment the characters no longer come up the isles. I'm sure it's due in part to parents from the back rushing the front as soon as the characters start down the stairs. Pushing past little kids even knocking some over. I feel as if more security should be in the isles keeping people in their seats so the characters can come into the crowd and interact. If the parents in the back feel the need to be closer to the front by all means choose your seats from the seating chart like I did and spend an extra few bucks to sit closer. You ruined it for everyone!
