my grandchildren were enthralled. They were mesmerized by the whole performance. The smiles on their faces was worth a million. The did not misbehave the whole show. for myself, I thought the characters very believable, the music fantastic, the theme and the story line wonderful, and it was so much fun and yet a learning experience.

ELMO Great fun for kids! (and parents)

by ksucat on 8/27/10Sioux Falls Arena - Sioux Falls

Elmo's Healthy Heroes had a great message for older kids with lots of lively movement and singing for younger kids! My almost two-year old hardly sits still at many events for more than 2 minutes and he barely took his eyes off the stage the entire time! The length of the program was just long enough to keep his attentiont and get him home to bed at a decent time without a crabby kid the next day! There was also enough "big-kid" humor to make this mom laugh out loud several times! We cannot wait until Sesame Street comes back to Sioux Falls to take him again!

by Mom2107 on 8/27/10Sioux Falls Arena - Sioux Falls

Elmo's Healthy Heroes was very good and entertaining for kids and adults too!! The songs and music were great. Lots of great dancing and action to keep kids attention through the whole show. Also, a very good message about taking care of yourself and being healthy. Great show.

    Sesame Street Live-Elmos Healthy heroes

by kayakMarie on 8/26/10Sioux Falls Arena - Sioux Falls

The show was enjoyable--we took our 2 year old grandson, and he had a great time. It was fun watching his reaction to the performances on stage. My only suggestion would be to have more reasonable priced concessions.

Sioux Falls, SD Sesame Street / Healthy Heroes

by sheldeb on 8/26/10Sioux Falls Arena - Sioux Falls

Our 3 year old loved it and our 7 year old had a great time as well. It was a solid show which was very well done. With a few musical numbers, we found the music a bit loud (even the adults). Overall, we were thrilled with the show and the kids thought it was fun.

    Elmo Healthy Heroes

by Terese74 on 8/26/10Sioux Falls Arena - Sioux Falls

We really enjoyed Elmos Healthy Heroes. The music was great and the show was really upbeat and energetic, had a good message. I LOVED that all the characters came down off the stage and ran around in the audience interacting with the kids. It really kept my daughters attention well. The only complaint I have is that we paid extra for sunny seat passes which let us go back stage before hand and meet the characters and get pictures taken. This was not cheap at all but I thought my daughter would really love this so I did it. They had us all sit on folding chairs and wait then had just Bert and Ernie come out, sit down on folding chairs in front of a background then we had to line up and get 1 picture taken with just them. I did not think that was worth the extra money I spent at all. From the description when I bought them I thought we would get to meet more characters and get more opportunities for pictures. The show overall was great but the sunny side photo passes were definately not worth it!

    Good Family Memory

by Stacy2 on 8/22/10La Crosse Center - Lacrosse

We enjoyed the Sesame Street Live show. It was a quality production. Our child has been talking about the show a lot. There was a lot of original material, but also some tie-ins to familiar themes (Elmo's World, etc.) which made our child happy. There were plenty of souvenirs available, but I really wish there would have been some sort of printed guide/program (even if it cost a few bucks) as a memento. It also would have been nice if there were more photo opps (props/cutouts/signs/etc.). We did get a great picture in front of the cute semi trailer out front. The venue overall was pretty good, but the seats were small. I also would have liked to see more healthy foods available at the concessions, since the theme of the show was "Health."

    I LOVE Sesame Street!

by MommyofElla on 8/22/10La Crosse Center - Lacrosse

This was a great show! My two year old loved it, and so did I! We would have gone again the next day if it was not such a long drive. I would recommend it to any Sesame Street fan, young or old!

    Great Show!

by Grecogirl on 8/22/10La Crosse Center - Lacrosse

I took my 2 year old son to this show and he loved it. We had seats in the second row, but I think seats anywhere would still make for a good view. The characters came down from the stage every so often and interacted with the audience. The story line was great; eating healthy, exercising, and hygiene are important topics for children. There was plenty of dancing and revamped songs like "I need a Hero" and "Vogue". The show was entertaining even for an adult. Don't be surprised at the price of the add-ons though, $5 for a balloon, $15 for a light toy. The part that was kind of contradictory was that they have concession stands with cotton candy, icees, nachos and other junk food. So the message of the show and the food don't match. But that is how they make money. I have been to other live shows for children like care bears and this was by far the best one yet! I recommend it to anyone with a small child.

    Great for Kids

by Jevin221 on 8/22/10La Crosse Center - Lacrosse

The show was great for kids. It showed how to be healthy and strong. The one criticism I have and it is a small one...the staff, prior to the show, told everyone they needed to stay in their seats during the performance, but then during the show, the characters had inactive roles with the kids, needing them to get up to interact. Just watching some of the group it appeared this created some confusion on what to do. Otherwise great show for kids. Hope to see more Sesame Street Live in the future.

Sunny Seats well worth the $

by etchy789 on 8/22/10La Crosse Center - Lacrosse

Amazing show! We splurged and got the "sunny seats" and we were so happy we did! Not only did we get meet and greet passes and got to get our daughters picture taken with abby and elmo, but they also came right down and danced with her during the show (we were in the front row). Can't wait to see a sesame street live show again!

We had the photo pass and we thought we were going to meet Elmo but instead it was Abby and Cookie Monster. My 3 year old screamed and cried at Cookie Monster. She thought he was going to bite her. I recommend them to have Elmo next time. Disappointed it wasn't. Also, our passes said photo session started at 6:00 pm. We were the third ones in line. We didn't get in the doors til 6:05 and had to wait a bit in hallway. We had to follow a lady downstairs but she didn't take who was in line first. By the time we got down there it was 6:13. Disappointed at that.
