About

Imagine singing and dancing with Elmo, Abby Cadabby, Big Bird and all your favorite Sesame Street Live friends!  It's as easy as counting "1-2-3 ... Imagine!" This high-energy musical will transport audiences to far away places as Ernie captains the high seas, Elmo dances to the rhythm of the African rainforest and Bert meets an octopus who has the blues.  It's a story of adventure and fun that teaches children they can be anyone, do anything and go anywhere with the power of imagination.

It was a pretty neat production. I got a kick out of watching the kids, but the stage production was interesting even to me.

I thought the show was fabulous! I had as much or more fun than my two children! It was like reliving my childhood. I would most definitely recommend this event to friends. I bought the CD and my children and I have a jam session going down the road to the songs of the play! It was awesome! If you have not seen it, PLEASE make your way to this show! You will not regret it!

    It was just okay.

by lkepne on 6/12/12Sovereign Performing Arts Center - Reading

The show was average. My three year old granddaughter liked it but wasn't as excited as she was to see The Wiggles. The people who sat near me was as ticked as I was that during intermission they came around with Elmo mylar balloons and were charging $10 each. The kids cried for one and we said no that they were too much money. We asked the man who was selling them to move since he was 4 feet from us and he ignored us so the kids kept crying but after paying for the tickets I wasn't about to pay $10 for a dollar store balloon. It was plain rude and ridiculously priced.

    Good time!

by Honoredarmywife on 6/12/12Crown Center - Fayetteville

Sesame Street Live was really a great time spent with the kids. Even my 7 year old enjoyed it. All the expected characters were there, the stage effects were simple but very effective. A 5 star time. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was because I thought the price for the "meet & greet" photo session was extremely over priced. True the pictures turned out great, and my 3 year old was thrilled to sit with Elmo. Still a lot of money for about a minute of face time in front of a backdrop.

    Worth the Time and Money

by FayettevilleDad on 6/12/12Crown Center - Fayetteville

Most kid shows are expensive; many are not worth the money and are boring experiences for the parents. Fortunately, this show is worth the money and the time. The stage show stays true to the television show. If your kids like the TV show; they will probably enjoy Sesame Street Live: 123 Imagine. The full-body puppets are well-done and believable as live characters, and there are even a few moments of spectacle (esp. the blacklight scenes) that will impress even mom and dad. My wife and I have a two year old and an 18 month old. We did not have to pay for our little one because he sat on our laps (check local policies). They both were entertained for most of the show, and my wife and I had a good time too. Watch out for the vendors, though. They sell the exact same stuff you can get much cheaper in the stores, so you might want to talk to your kids about this beforehand.

We bought tickets to the show for my son’s 2nd birthday. He however went to sleep during the show and he LOVES Elmo! All five members of my party were very disappointed; we expected a lot more from the show. Our tickets were awful even though they were the best available! Not to mention, there were tons of available seats around us open. Staff was not very friendly! The selection of merchandise available was very small. The arena was too large for the number of viewers. Audience was too spaced out. We will not attend another show.

Verey good show! I wish the all the characters would have come down into the audience, especially Elmo. And I wish they would have been available after the show to meet with the kids.

by Leafs34Fan on 6/12/12Sovereign Performing Arts Center - Reading

Sesame Street Live : 123 Imagine! with Elmo & Friends was throughly an enjoyable experience for our Grandson. His favorite character is Elmo, so whenever he was on stage it made the experience enev more enjoyable. Overall our Gradnson enjoys many of the Sesame Street characters, so it was not difficult to keep his attention throughtout the show.

Elmo was a joy to watch

by MattressQueen on 6/11/12Sovereign Performing Arts Center - Reading

My grandson is obsessed with Elmo. He had a blast at the show. He loved it and his grandfather and I loved watching him being enthralled with the live characters. There was one thing I was disappointed in though, I paid the extra money for the meet and greet with Elmo. Not a very good effort. We were lead down to see them. Got a picture taken and then we had to leave. No worth the extra money I paid.

Sesame Street Live Not as good as 20 years ago

    by grand89 on 6/6/12Powers Auditorium - Youngstown

Its been over 20 years since I went to Sesame Street Live. They used to really interact with the kids and the characters moved through the audience. This show they only did one or two numbers where they interacted with the kids and the characters never came off the stage. I took my 17 month old grandson and he was mesmerized - which was wonderful.
