Singer/actress Selena Gomez's musical career reached a new height in 2013 with her solo debut album, Stars Dance. The album sold nearly 100,000 copies during its first week out and it became her first No. 1 album before she quickly took to the road for a massive arena tour with up-and-coming pop stars Emblem3 in tow.
Stars Dance featured Gomez's biggest hit to date, "Come & Get It," which peaked at No. 6 on Billboard's Hot 100 chart, outpacing the 2011 hits with her band Selena Gomez & the Scene "Who Says" and "Love You Like a Love Song," which peaked at Nos. 21 and 22, respectively.
The seasoned road warrior, who only celebrated her 21st birthday in 2013, went soloĀ after releasing three Gold-certified albums with the Scene between 2009 and 2011. Her musical ventures piggybacked with her careers as a fixture on The Disney Channel, and then in mainstream film.
Gomez, a native of Grand Prairie, Texas, began her path to stardomĀ as a one of the kids on Barney & Friends. Her film debut took place in 2003, when she had a cameo in Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over. Gomez entered the Disney fold in 2006 by making guest appearances, including some with Miley Cyrus on Hannah Montana. She got her first starring TV role as the character Alex Russo on the Disney Channel series Wizards of Waverly Place.
As her acting career blossomed, Gomez embarked on a music career, signing with Disney's Hollywood Records imprint in 2008 and releasing her debut album with Selena Gomez & the Scene a year later. She released two more albums with The Scene over the next two years, both of which charted in the Top 5, before going solo.

by š¦illow on 7/19/22Saw her Concert here in my home state, New York City. It was my first Selena concert and I loved every moment of it. She played so many good songs and she was such a light on stage and performed so well and looked so stunning(as always). After the concert she came to the back exit of the Barclays Center to say hi to some of us fans and take a group photo. She was a couple feet away from me. Wasnāt able to tell her how much I love and respect her artistry but the simple fact that she came out to see us just made me feel loved as a fan. Dreaming of the day I can see her perform again live. Such a beautiful soul. Love her so much. Selenator forever š

And the merch lines were great not too crowded it was sold out but her intro was just amazing and the energy was just immaculate. Her performance was great and her dancers were great. My favorite part was when she sang her hit who says. Waiting patiently for her next tour, super exited for future shows.

I recommend going to go see her, she is Perfect!! cant wait till next tour (:

I was so excited when I found out she was coming for the Revival Tour so I just had to get tickets. They turned out very well as I was pretty close to the stage. Without a doubt, Selena put on one of the best concerts I have ever been to. From start to finish. She has an undeniable stage presence and an angelic voice. She knows how to bring the energy and connects well with all the fans. Such a fun show! I was dancing the whole time. I will definitely be seeing her again, as it was a night to remember.

The whole crowd was dancing, singing, and just having a blast with their favorite artist! It even became a bit emotional but in a good way. It really shows how powerful and touching her music is.

My mom and I both enjoyed the concert so much and will definitely be going again when she returns. Selena is an amazing performer and had me in tears pretty much the entire time and I'm 18 so that says a lot. This concert was the best day of my life and I will never forget this day. The set list was amazing and she sang all the songs I wanted her to. She makes me so happy and this concert was definitely the best. I recommend seeing her in concert when you get the chance. I still have post concert depression and the concert was almost 3 months ago... I miss it so much! Her opening acts we're amazing but could have used less time on DNCE and more on Selena.. but still a great night
