About

House DJ/producer Sebastian Ingrosso collaborates extensively with Steve Angello, the founder of Size Records, under a variety of monikers including Angello & Ingrosso. Along with Angello, Eric Prydz, and Axwell, Ingrosso is a member of the Stockholm-based group Swedish House Mafia. Though he'd labored as a house producer for several years prior, Ingrosso scored his first major hit in 2005 with "Together," a collaboration with Axwell that was licensed for major-label release. A string of hit collaborations followed in 2007 -- "Get Dumb," billed also to Axwell, Angello, and Laidback Luke; "It's True," billed also to Axwell; and "Umbrella," billed also to Angello -- as did an entry in the two-CD Ministry of Sound mix album series Sessions. ~ Jason Birchmeier, Rovi

Alesso and Ingrosso Kill It at the BJC

by Samael on 2/25/12Bryce Jordan Center - University Park

This show was unforgettable! Alesso and Ingrosso are incredible DJs, and the opener, David Solano, was very good too. The beat dropped every 5-10 minutes and the crowd went nuts almost every time... The light show, the audio, the confetti, everything was amazing, Dayglow is an incredible production company (no paint for this event though). Penn State really knows how to have a good time at an electronic dance music (EDM) concert. Only complaint would be there are a lot of frat bros that were either too wasted to move around without walking into people, or leaned into other people on purpose and push them around just to look tough. Bottom line, if you see an upcoming EDM event at Penn State, BUY TICKETS!!! You won't regret it! The crowd gets so hyped--if you prefer some personal space then just get an event level ticket, you'll even save $10-20. Just as background for my review, I've been following EDM for about 2 years, I'm a big fan of electro, house, hardstyle, trance, and some dubstep.

It was stale. The show itself was good, the production and whatnot. The dj part, not so much. It stunk, it was all mixed via computer. Disappointment. Definitely not worth 60 bucks.
