  • 2nd Class Experience from Climate Pledge

by DumpTruck on 12/30/22Climate Pledge Arena - SeattleRating: 1 out of 5

Great to see the T-Birds play in Seattle, but the experience was completely ruined by mismanaged operations at Climate Pledge Arena. First, the doors opened 15 minutes after the stated time, and of course it was raining outside which made the delay even worse. Second, the audio system did not work the entire game due to a "power surge". It's almost like the Climate Pledge Arena folks simply didn't care about making this a good experience. Not sure how you can't fix a power surge in a state-of-the-art arena, at least halfway through the game. Of course it was working when the Kraken played to following night, which shows you Climate Pledge Arena just doesn't care. Love the Birds, but catch them at Kent instead if you want a real experience and cheaper prices for food and beer.

  • I enjoyed the game. Thunderbirds are fun to watch!

I appreciate the Thunderbirds talent. It'd be great if the Thunderbirds played Climate Pledge! Such a beautiful venue.

  • Worst game of my life

by Amie on 12/30/22Climate Pledge Arena - SeattleRating: 1 out of 5

I'm completely disappointed in Seattle fans- so entirely classless. I understand that I am cheering for the away team, but I would never treat an opposing team like that in our barn! These boys are teenagers & my momma bear instincts are strong and what kind of example are you setting for the young fans in the stands?! It was a great game but it was sad that the fans ruined it for me. The lack of sportsmanship towards the opposing goalie, the goal song & signs (by young kids mind you) were atrocious. I will never give Seattle Thunderbirds a penny of my money again. AND you best bet- when they play in our barn- OUR fans will be respectful & cheer on OUR BOYS- not chant the opposing team.

  • Interesting

by Eastside Kriebler on 12/30/22Climate Pledge Arena - SeattleRating: 4 out of 5

Battle of the Sound needs to be between closer teams so more fans will show up. Last year the Everette game had triple the amount of fans compared to Spokane.

  • Great except for parking

by Carey on 3/2/22Climate Pledge Arena - SeattleRating: 4 out of 5

I attended the hockey game between the Silvertips and the Thunderbirds at the Climate Pledge Arena. I attended mainly to see the Climate Pledge Arena. I bought parking at the Arena through Ticketmaster (expensive) because I wanted the least amount of hassle possible. I loaded the address I was given into my GPS and it turned out this was the address of Climate Pledge Arena NOT the parking garage. It took me almost 30 to find the entrance. A lot of this delay was due to traffic. Because of this delay, I did not get much of a chance to look around the arena very much. At least we won 4-0 -- A shutout. Just wish I could have gotten more of a chance to look around.

  • Fun hockey game, but TOO LOUD

by Mrs Clark on 3/1/22Climate Pledge Arena - SeattleRating: 2 out of 5

We had great lower bowl seats in a little wedge of sanity between two vastly overpriced "club" sections. But even with earplugs in, the PA in the arena was FAR TOO LOUD! They showed babies and small children with no ear defender on, on the huge jumbotron screens. Management should warn people that the decibel level was high enough to cause hearing damage.

  • I went for Battle of the Sound & enjoyed it!

    by LeftWing#19 on 3/1/22Climate Pledge Arena - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

I bought the same seats that I have for my season tickets for the Kraken and paid a lot more. I had no idea that it was considered a home game for the Thunderbirds and wore all my Silvertips swag. The Thunderbirds games always have great music played at the best time. Although the tickets were extremely overpriced for CHL hockey, I enjoyed the evening.

  • Birds/Tips was great

  • Great Experience

by Battle of the Sound on 3/1/22Climate Pledge Arena - SeattleRating: 4 out of 5

Seats were comfortable, being down on the ice was great except being second row back (only 2 rows down on ice) couldn't see well past people in first row. Ushers were very friendly & helpful, one item of food wasn't in keosk and no scan bar so took a really long time to check out, but food was good areana food.

  • Tbirds

by Jack on 3/1/22Climate Pledge Arena - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

Great seat. But I was surrounded by too many Everett. Won't go a second time

  • Not so green!

by Michelle on 3/1/22Climate Pledge Arena - SeattleRating: 3 out of 5

I took my boys to the Battle of the Sound as a way to support the Everett SilverTips and to experience Climate Pledge Arena. I have to say I was a little shocked with as green as the arena is, the food certainly isn't. We tried looking for better food options, but the only fresh thing we really found was poke. Not one vendor offered a simple grab and go salad or grilled chicken breast or anything close to healthy. Super easy foods to add to your menu. Would love to see Climate Pledge do better.
