Loads of fun!
by Zaq on 11/26/21Lincoln Theatre - WashingtonMy show in DC started at around 5:15-5:30 PM for my VIP Q&A, this was not very clear anywhere so beware before you order your ticket. (which by the way lasted around an hour or so until 6:30 PM) The audience is all ages so it was mostly kids around 12 yrs. old with their families, so if you're not into a lot of young people yelling also beware of that! Security was fine, but in my opinion could have been tighter with asking more questions about items/weapon(s) on your person. Onto the show it's self, it began around 8 PM and ended around 10 PM, for a 2 hour show I'm sure people going who don't really follow or know of the people on stage will have less of the nostalgic trip watching the show/Q&A. That being said it was a lot of fun, Arin brings such an amazing energy to the show. Ross, James, Jaiden, and Emi were so creative with the improv and hilarious as always. You'll get a lot more enjoyment if you know who these guys are, but that being said I would say it's fairly ok for parents that have no idea what to expect to come along with their children. The VIP accentuates this even more so with specific questions being directed towards their personal lives and YT channels. Speaking of the VIP ticket, specifically what I got from it: - A little Scribble Showdown Bag to carry my merch. - A Scribble Showdown coloring book. - A signed poster signed by Arin, Emi, Ross, James, and Jaiden. - A VIP lanyard. (everyone also received a free pen that works... okay, and a small well made poster, both from Jaiden, the poster being filled with art from her past YT videos) Final Thoughts: If you like GG, or Jaiden, or a few of them, get the basic ticket, it's a fun ride. If you really enjoy everyone that will be there, I think the VIP is for the most part worth it. The show itself is really funny and a great time and the Q&A is a really fun hangout too, but if you're going in completely blind, maybe this would be a great time to catch up on or check out some of their videos!
