Opportunity comes once in a lifetime

    by Legendnoir26 on 12/13/21Kings Theatre - Brooklyn

What I love about the show and the qna session is that we can be snake to express ourselves and have a lot of fun. Even thou ot sucks that I didn’t have a chance to ask them( then again it a lot of people so understandable) but nonetheless at least I have fun. Best part is that I got the autograph, merch and lot of laugh. Hope I don’t miss my next opportunity for next showdown.

    Great Experience

by AprilLynn on 12/13/21Kings Theatre - Brooklyn

My son watches these YouTubers all the time. They seemed like genuinely nice people during the Q&A. The format was very clear and the technical aspect of the show went very well with no glitches. Overall an interesting experience.

    Super fun!

by Momoftween on 12/13/21Kings Theatre - Brooklyn

Attended with my 13 year old and didn’t know what to expect. Like Whose Line Is It Anyway, there was a lot of audience participants the points don’t matter. But, rather than improv skits they were drawing! A great event targeted to the tween/teen audience and it seemed like everyone had fun.

    Fun & Creative Show!

by Tommy Zei on 12/11/21The Chicago Theatre - Chicago

After missing out on their earlier tour, I was so happy to see Scribble Showdown in Chicago! Arin is a charming and entertaining host who knows how to keep the audience happy, the entire format and challenges were interesting, and the artists do a fantastic job showing off their creativity under pressure. Can't wait to see their next show in Chicago! Also, hope they got to enjoy the deep dish they were so excited for.

Very Entertaining, But It’s Over Now

I super enjoyed the event, however some audience suggestions were sorta cringe

    Amazing except for one thing..

by Damarra on 12/8/21State Theatre - Minneapolis

There really should be a way to get the images drawn, for cost or otherwise. And they should let people take a picture of the group either at the beginning of the show, or the end.

    Very entertaining

    by dragonslyr69 on 12/8/21State Theatre - Minneapolis

Definitely enjoyed our trip. Very nice theatre. Arin did a great job presenting the animators. Animators all have great personality. Crowd interactions were appreciated.

    Sparse

by Rob on 12/8/21State Theatre - Minneapolis

As an afterthought, the spare production value was very appropriate, my kids were totally overwhelmed as it was. My oldest has a sensitivity to sound and the crowd started to get to him by the end. Come to think of it, if the whole thing was more slick it probably would have come off as insincere in a way and bewildered them.

    Modern

by Rob on 12/8/21State Theatre - Minneapolis

I didn't know what to expect. Early on I could tell there wasn't a ton of production value but the show was a ton of fun. I had my kids with me (their idea). They had a blast. Such a simple idea but I've seen nothing like it in in my 45 years and enjoyed it even though I'm not a fan like my kids are. Love the concept, art creation live as entertainment is so rare.

As a Parent, I had Fun

by NicC on 12/8/21State Theatre - Minneapolis

Although my child had exposed me to Odds One Out and Jaiden Animations, I would consider myself ignorant as to who the main guests were. Regardless of that, I still had fun but more importantly, my child loved the experience. They enjoyed every minute and was talking about the next one minutes after walking out the exit. I’m 100% planning on taking them to the next one.

    What a Blast

by James on 12/8/21State Theatre - Minneapolis

The YouTubers were great! My kids loved it, and we thought it was entertaining as well. Being put on the spot and drawing audience suggestions in a minute or two takes talent I don't have. The State Theatre is definitely showing its age, and the concessions were overpriced. Still it was worth the admission price, and we would go see Ross, Emily, Jaiden, and James at an event like this again.
