Scooby Doo was GREAT family fun

by Kelly32117 on 6/13/13The Peabody Daytona Beach - Daytona Beach

I took my 7 year old son to see this. We got the tickets for the meet and greet which was nice because they gave you little blow up scooby and poster, etc. We got to take pics with them before the show. The show itself was great also. Characters were well performed and the ghost was just scary enough. My son (who is rarely impressed) loved it as well as I.

IF YOU CAN GET TICKETS CHEAP IT IS GREAT FOR VERY YOUNG CHILDREN... I WAS UPSET WHEN SHOW TIME WAS OLY ONE HOUR AND WE PAID 60.00 PER TICKET. EVEN MY LITTLE 5 YEAR OLD SAID MOM IT'S OVER ALREADY!

    The Gang Rocked!

by MysteryIncFan on 6/13/13The Peabody Daytona Beach - Daytona Beach

It was an awesome show. The show was just like watching an episode on TV. It was a nice touch for the gang to be looking for the ghost in our city and the theater we were in. It seemed that after the intermission, the rest of the show flew by. It was a lot of fun for the kids and the adults!

    Scooby Doo was Ear splitting

by Rtuten2000 on 6/13/13The Peabody Daytona Beach - Daytona Beach

While the idea was a good one, the performance was not so good. We, I took my 9 year old son, could not understand most of the words in the songs. The music overpowered the voices. The players were not overly adept at engaging the audience. The few words that could be heard were very pitchy. Overall: Not recommended. My son is a Scooby freak and his best comment was "lame" and his worst was "horrific".

    Kids will love it.

    by Nick600 on 4/17/13CHEVALIER THEATRE - Medford

I grew up watching this show on TV and now my kids are in love with it. It isn't as much fun for the adults but it is pretty cheap for tickets and the kids freak out in a great way for scooby doobie doooo!

    Not kid friendly

by jessm35 on 2/5/13Salem Civic Center - Salem

For a show that is supposed to be family friendly, the promoters and Scooby really goofed up on this one. When I arrived with my 5-year old, I was told that my tickets included a meet and greet with Scooby. This was the first time I knew, so I didn't even have a good camera with me. While conversing with other parents in the line, more than half were not aware of the meet and greet until they arrived for the 4pm show. I was told it would be at 6pm after the show. I told my daughter, who was ecstatic. The show finished at 5:30 and we went to stand in line with others, who also had no idea about the meet and greet. While we were standing there, we were informed (more like scolded) that we were supposed to be there before the show for the meet and greet so we would have to wait until the group from the 7:00 show went in and we could only take pictures, no "dillydallying". After waiting until 6:30ish with a tired, crabby and now hungry daughter, we were led in like cattle to snap our pictures and ushered out immediately after. This whole ordeal ruined the show for me, my daughter liked it, but she doesn't pay for the tickets. I will never attend a show produced by this company again.
