    SAVES THE DAY! :)

by Anonymous on 10/6/10Grog Shop - Cleveland

Seriously amazing show! Always is though. Saves the day is the ultimate best band in the world! I even got the opportunity to tell Chris himself that I appreciate the amazing music they have made over the years and how I've been a huge fan since I was 12 and I'm now 20. If you like STD it was definitely the place to be this past Saturday.

    Saves the Day still rocks!!

by Sildrum on 10/4/10Grog Shop - Cleveland

The opening acts were good, The Sidekicks were young and loud, very good for never hearing them before. River City Extention was good but musically I did not care for them. I have been going to STD's concerts since 1998. The show on the 2nd was like one of those shows. The crowd was enthusiastic and respectful. The song choice was stellar. They have yet to disappoint my expectations.

    These guys rule

    by PeteOhWait19 on 10/4/10Grog Shop - Cleveland

Hats off to Saves the Day for continuing to deliver their unique and diverse sound, and for their willingness to play small venues, despite their success. With songs ranging from the band's earliest records to its newest (unreleased) album, they rocked the stage and had a great time doing it. They were even more energetic and enthusiastic than when I saw them at the House of Blues a few months ago. It seems like small venues bring out the best in STD. They displayed youthfulness and connected with the crowd on a personal level. Plus, they sounded as good as they ever have! After the show, the guys mingled with the crowd and took pictures with anyone. It was a great experience.

Saves the day rocked, venue and curfew was a bummer. They could have played longer, perhaps only inviting one opening band would have been better with such an early curfew at the Grog Shop. The homeless bouncer attempting to hold kids off the stage during the last song was by far the greatest moment of this show!
