About

Celebrated country vocalist Sara Evans returned to the airwaves in 2013 with "Slow Me Down," the bombastic lead single from her highly anticipated seventh studio album. As great as her voice is on record, it's her live concerts that let her showcase what a pure and versatile storyteller she truly is. Ticket buyers are sure to be floored by her vocals, with a dynamic range that can go from angelic softness to full-voiced belts effortlessly, all done with an emotional heft that reaches into your soul and holds on until the very last note. Every tour she's unleashed has been a vocal tour de force that has to be heard to be believed. Her upcoming album, due in the first quarter of 2014, is sure to be another classic Sara Evans' journey through life and love and finds her reuniting with superstar Vince Gill, who sang with Sara on her first country number one hit, "No Place That Far."

A country sensation since her debut album in 1997, Sara Evans has kept listeners enthralled with her continuous release of quality material and award-winning performances. Her classic "Born to Fly" became her second number one single, and was responsible for Sara's first major award win at the 2001 Country Music Association Awards, where she was the most nominated artist of the evening. Her biggest song to date came thirteen years into her illustrious career with "A Little Bit Stronger," becoming Sara's first platinum-certified single. Time and time again, Sara Evans proves that a timeless vocalist with personal stories to tell will always find an audience to connect with.

Sara was very good. Her voice is amazing a very talented singer. The venue how ever i wasnt thrilled about paying 300 bucks for a folding chair in a meeting room.

  • Comp tickets = Inconsiderate Concert Guests

by CajunRN on 11/8/21L'Auberge Casino & Hotel Baton Rouge - Baton RougeRating: 3 out of 5

Sara was great but the venue L’Auberge in Baton Rouge, not so much. I’m not sure if it’s due to a number of comp tickets (which I’ve received in the past) but concert attendees behind me DID NOT SHUT UP THE ENTIRE CONCERT! If you are going to a concert that where the music 🎶 isn’t head-banging metal, then stop trying to talk above the music! Everyone in ear shot distance CAN HEAR YOU!!! It’s annoying to say the least! Just bought tickets to Travis Tritt at this venue for next February and already regretting it.

Very clean space, set up well so not a bad seat in the house. The performance was awesome. That girl can sing and the acoustics were great.

  • Really good!

by Gail on 10/31/21The Magnolia - El CajonRating: 4 out of 5

The show was great. But she didn’t sing enough of her hits. The bad part was the ticketing snafu...the digital tickets were very difficult. I had to go to box office to get a link wish I had the old school paper tickets to print as an option.

  • Pretty Good

by FlightNurse on 10/30/21Fox Performing Arts Center - RiversideRating: 4 out of 5

Maybe I missed it but my ticket said 7pm - that was a "doors open" time - the actual show started at 8pm. So I get to the Fox theater like a dork at 6:30 so I don't miss the opening song, just like 500 other people who were grumbling in line. Yes, we had to get out vaccination cards checks which was fine with me and that line when quickly. Once inside most of us waited for 45 mins for the show to start - guess more time to buy drinks and popcorn. Wish the procedure and times frames would have been more clear. Also the show wasn't advertised as "acoustic" - I would have purchased more tickets if I knew that - much better show when the artist comes out and talks and shares their career and journey and plays songs in between than some noisy production that just reiterates their hit songs.

  • Sara was awesome!!

My review is solely on the concert and not the venue. Sara was amazing. She has such a great voice and I love the fact her family was with her on stage.

Sara Evans looked great and sounded great along with her band and backup singers. She sang all her hits and sounded amazing Loved the smaller venue. Sara interacted with the crowd just enough and was very personable. This was my 3 rd time seeing Sara Evans. Never disappointed.

  • Great small venue and place to stay

by Styx fan on 9/20/21Ameristar Casino and Hotel - Kansas CityRating: 5 out of 5

The small venue made it very nice and cozy, she was so personable and funny and she is so talented. Plus staying at the casino made it extra nice to be able to retire to a really nice clean room after the show. And all of the staff at the show and hotel were outstanding.

by ST WILL on 9/14/21Beau Rivage Theatre - BiloxiRating: 5 out of 5

Great night of entertainment! Sara held the audience captive with her beautiful voice and humble presence. She has a great interactive stage attention that makes you feel you are the only one she is singing to. She was appreciative to all her band and backup singers. Such a wonderful venue to have seen her for the first time, and the seats we had were good too! Looking forward to seeing Sara again and to many more shows at the Beau :)

  • First Time

by BigJoeNC on 9/7/21Beau Rivage Theatre - BiloxiRating: 5 out of 5

Overall a great night was a little disappointed reason I went to Mississippi was for option mask requirements. Everywhere we signs masks RECOMMEND when got to the venue entrance was TOLD I HAD TO WEAR A MASK , I didn't argue but was disappointed to be TOLD I had to wear one. The good new was that as lights went out most people weren't wearing masks and it became optional. GOD BLESS THE USA. I had never seen or hear any of her music but wanted to see a live music event and was well worth it she puts on a great show.

  • The Beau is a great place to see a show.
