About

Celebrated country vocalist Sara Evans returned to the airwaves in 2013 with "Slow Me Down," the bombastic lead single from her highly anticipated seventh studio album. As great as her voice is on record, it's her live concerts that let her showcase what a pure and versatile storyteller she truly is. Ticket buyers are sure to be floored by her vocals, with a dynamic range that can go from angelic softness to full-voiced belts effortlessly, all done with an emotional heft that reaches into your soul and holds on until the very last note. Every tour she's unleashed has been a vocal tour de force that has to be heard to be believed. Her upcoming album, due in the first quarter of 2014, is sure to be another classic Sara Evans' journey through life and love and finds her reuniting with superstar Vince Gill, who sang with Sara on her first country number one hit, "No Place That Far."

A country sensation since her debut album in 1997, Sara Evans has kept listeners enthralled with her continuous release of quality material and award-winning performances. Her classic "Born to Fly" became her second number one single, and was responsible for Sara's first major award win at the 2001 Country Music Association Awards, where she was the most nominated artist of the evening. Her biggest song to date came thirteen years into her illustrious career with "A Little Bit Stronger," becoming Sara's first platinum-certified single. Time and time again, Sara Evans proves that a timeless vocalist with personal stories to tell will always find an audience to connect with.

  • Too much noise

by ES on 12/22/21Hoyt Sherman Place - Des MoinesRating: 4 out of 5

It was a great little Christmas show! I love this small venue but…they need to run their sound system better. The volume could have been turned down by 40% minimum to control the reverberation in the room. When you have someone with that powerful of a voice and that big of a band in a such a small space -speaker system is not necessary. The band and the musician were great but most of the time the band was overpowering the vocals ! Still a good time though.

  • Wonderful Holiday Event

Sarah is the ultimate entertainer. Left it all on stage. Great band, wonderful backup singers. Left in the holiday spirit! Goal accomplished.

  • Sara was energetic and sang a nice selection of music.

by Bill H on 12/6/21Old National Events Plaza - EvansvilleRating: 4 out of 5

Sara was great, but the "sound man" had things way too loud for a Christmas show. Christmas music shouldn't be as loud as a Rolling Stones concern. Also, patrons need to be reminded to turn off their phone and not to have lengthy, drunk'n conversations. Its not fair to have to listen to people behind you talk all night when you spend good money to enjoy a concert now days...

We are not country music fans but did enjoy her fine voice and Christmas music. Accounting in Aiken theater did not offer a well rounded sound...all sound came from the front.

  • Very Nice Evening

by Canbro28 on 12/6/21Old National Events Plaza - EvansvilleRating: 4 out of 5

Overall, this concert made for a very nice evening. The opening act "Everette" won the audience over with a great start to the show. Sara Evans and her band provided an entertaining selection of Christmas favorites while mixing in a few of her main hits. My only disappointment was with the sound mix. This is not a slam against Sara or her team, rather an observation of the music industry in general. The modern trend of blasting loud sound that is overwhelmed by excessive subwoofer bombardment just kills any quality musical performance. It just baffles me that professional musicians and sound engineers put up with this presentation. I have a feeling that the performers on the stage don't know how muddy and distorted the mix sounds to the audience. Being a musician myself, I know how hard a performer works on sounding their best. It's a shame that the industry goes for gimmicks instead of quality in the sound mix.

  • Sara Evans 2021 Nov

by ArubaJim on 11/23/21Grand Sierra Resort and Casino - RenoRating: 5 out of 5

My first Sara Evans concert after being a fan for some time. Good seats, sans the woman next to me (who had one of the tables and sat directly in my view). The sound had a few glitches over the course of the show, however, Sara' singing and that of her daughter and band made up for it.

  • Could have been better tour

by Sophie’s mom on 11/22/21Grand Sierra Resort and Casino - RenoRating: 3 out of 5

Show was to start at 8 but like 8:15! Show only lasted till 9:45, technical problems, and she only mainly hung out on one side of stage! Thank god for screens!

  • Fabulous Sara Evans Concert in Reno!

by Sal Gal on 11/21/21Grand Sierra Resort and Casino - RenoRating: 5 out of 5

So enjoyed the Sara Evans concert. I wanted to request a song of hers so I sent a bouquet of flowers to her hotel room with a note. I let her know that her song “Stronger” helped me get through my divorce. When she introduced this song during her concert she said: “So many people are struggling through break ups and music can be so helpful during that time!”

  • Great Show!

by MarDiaz on 11/21/21Grand Sierra Resort and Casino - RenoRating: 5 out of 5

Sara Evans was great, all her hits were awesome and she made it a really fun time! The arena was neat too and plenty of room to be comfortable.

  • Disappointed

by Charlie on 11/21/21Grand Sierra Resort and Casino - RenoRating: 2 out of 5

The band overwhelmed Sara’s voice. During the last 30 - 40 minutes, the audio kept breaking up, hissing and sputtering. She even stopped the show once while work was being done.

  • Sara Evans Still Has It

A wonderful concert in a great venue, with great seats!! Sara’s voice was impeccable! Great support and talent from her band and harmony singers.

Left the concert after four songs due to the extreme loudness of the sound system. A real disservice to Sara Evans. So sad; we flew into Reno for one night just to see this concert.
