About

Celebrated country vocalist Sara Evans returned to the airwaves in 2013 with "Slow Me Down," the bombastic lead single from her highly anticipated seventh studio album. As great as her voice is on record, it's her live concerts that let her showcase what a pure and versatile storyteller she truly is. Ticket buyers are sure to be floored by her vocals, with a dynamic range that can go from angelic softness to full-voiced belts effortlessly, all done with an emotional heft that reaches into your soul and holds on until the very last note. Every tour she's unleashed has been a vocal tour de force that has to be heard to be believed. Her upcoming album, due in the first quarter of 2014, is sure to be another classic Sara Evans' journey through life and love and finds her reuniting with superstar Vince Gill, who sang with Sara on her first country number one hit, "No Place That Far."

A country sensation since her debut album in 1997, Sara Evans has kept listeners enthralled with her continuous release of quality material and award-winning performances. Her classic "Born to Fly" became her second number one single, and was responsible for Sara's first major award win at the 2001 Country Music Association Awards, where she was the most nominated artist of the evening. Her biggest song to date came thirteen years into her illustrious career with "A Little Bit Stronger," becoming Sara's first platinum-certified single. Time and time again, Sara Evans proves that a timeless vocalist with personal stories to tell will always find an audience to connect with.

  • Sara Evans was good

    by yellowrose49 on 8/24/09Billy Bob's - Fort WorthRating: 3 out of 5

Sara did a good job. The location was not good. The seating needs to be elevated in the back and then gradually go down toward the front. You could not see over the people in front of you and then there are way too many poles in the way. I would not recommend this venue to anyone else. Also the acoustics are horrible in Billy Bob's. You could not understand what people were saying when they were talking. Would have been better in the super pages arena or somewhere like that. Also, the duo that sang before Sara were horrible. Don't ever book them again.

I loved that she had her family members involved. It made her more real.

Sara put on a great concert. Only problem was big pole blocking my view of the center of the stage.

  • Sara Evans - STELLAR!

Sara Evans was stellar - 5 Stars***** We didn't really like Billy Bobs - three stars ***. We had reserved seats or should I say TABLES. Didn't like having to sit at a table and the posts that are every 10 feet block your view. I will definitely see Sara Evans again...just not at Billy Bobs.

This is the 3rd time I've seen Sara Evans at Billy Bob's and she gets better each time! Great show and great location!

  • She has the chops!

    by Harmony58 on 8/23/09Billy Bob's - Fort WorthRating: 4 out of 5

Sara Evans put on a very good show at Billy Bob's last night. She played the best of her hits and the new songs were well presented. She has an easy way with her audience -- not too distant -- not too familiar. The lady has some chops! No lip synching needed here!

  • Sara Evans was energetic!

    by Debsu on 8/23/09Billy Bob's - Fort WorthRating: 4 out of 5

Enjoyed seeing Sara in a smaller venue. The sound was great and she looks fantastic. Sara was wearing short shorts and her legs are toned! She brought two of her younger sisters out and sang a couple of songs with them. Sara has written many of her new songs. I really like the new material. The show could have been longer but she was wearing 6 inch heels so her feet were probably killing her. The band was OK with no outstanding musicians.

  • Sara was hot.

Great music all night. Just needed a steel guitar.

BBTX is always a good venue to see an artist up close and Sara did not disappoint. She sang all her hits and mixed in some of her new stuff....which made me want to go listen to them and download. I haven't seen her since DWTS so her weight loss pleasantly surprised me. She looks great! Her legs in those shorts and spiked heels were amazing and her vocals were chill bump producing. Sara was great!

We'll go back and see her again. She's unbelievable in person.

  • Sara Evans was an amazing experience!!

    by Nikki2 on 8/23/09Billy Bob's - Fort WorthRating: 5 out of 5

Sara Evans not only sounds amazing on cd's and on the radio but also in person and in live concert. Her voice is amazing and one of a kind. She got the crowd pumped up and ready to go and even gave a bit of a background story to each song. I loved how she included a lot of her family in this show by bringing up two of her daughters and introducing her two sisters and brother who are part of her band. Overall this experience was amazing and an unforgettable night.

  • She sounds great in concert!

Some act,s you go and see and they don't sound as good as they do on the radio. Not Sara. If it's possible, she sounds better live. She had great interaction with the audiance. Lots of fun. The only reason I dropped a star is that she could have sang more songs, as she wasn't on for a full two hours.

Her voice is simply amazing, and the venue was a great place to see her perform. She also looked incredible as always. I was disappointed with the length of time that she sang and the number of songs she sang. She wasn't on stage very long, and she didn't sing a lot of my favorites.

The concert was very good. My daughter and I enjoyed it. Sara Evans was very personable on stage. The meet and greet was exciting for my daughter also, she got her autograph. It was very enjoyable to see an artist incoporate her family into her show, since they are very much an integral part of her life.

I enjoyed the show. I did not like it when she talked bad about her kids, though. Thought that was tacky. Her musical performance was great!
