About

Celebrated country vocalist Sara Evans returned to the airwaves in 2013 with "Slow Me Down," the bombastic lead single from her highly anticipated seventh studio album. As great as her voice is on record, it's her live concerts that let her showcase what a pure and versatile storyteller she truly is. Ticket buyers are sure to be floored by her vocals, with a dynamic range that can go from angelic softness to full-voiced belts effortlessly, all done with an emotional heft that reaches into your soul and holds on until the very last note. Every tour she's unleashed has been a vocal tour de force that has to be heard to be believed. Her upcoming album, due in the first quarter of 2014, is sure to be another classic Sara Evans' journey through life and love and finds her reuniting with superstar Vince Gill, who sang with Sara on her first country number one hit, "No Place That Far."

A country sensation since her debut album in 1997, Sara Evans has kept listeners enthralled with her continuous release of quality material and award-winning performances. Her classic "Born to Fly" became her second number one single, and was responsible for Sara's first major award win at the 2001 Country Music Association Awards, where she was the most nominated artist of the evening. Her biggest song to date came thirteen years into her illustrious career with "A Little Bit Stronger," becoming Sara's first platinum-certified single. Time and time again, Sara Evans proves that a timeless vocalist with personal stories to tell will always find an audience to connect with.

  • Sara Evans Greatest Hits was awesome

    by txnative40 on 12/11/09Desert Diamond Casino - TucsonRating: 5 out of 5

Saw Sara Evans last night and she put on a great show. I was a little disappointed when I first bought the tickets that there was no mention of it being a Christmas show. But she did 2 parts. The first was her greatest hits and she did not disappoint. She is an amazing entertainer and has a set of pipes on her. Her voice is just amazing. Her band is a group of awesome musicians who did a great job. The sound was one of the best I have heard at that venue. As you know Sara is very easy on the eyes and she is gorgeous. She interacted with the crowd very nicely. It is nice to see that she has her family with her, her 2 little sisters sre her back up singers and they have great voices too. I appreciated the fact that she gives all her band and staff credit too while onstage. I wish she had video moniters s probably the only thing I would recommend when she performs. Go see her show it is well worth the price of the ticket.

  • Sara Evans was phenomenal!

    by PTgirl2007 on 12/11/09Desert Diamond Casino - TucsonRating: 5 out of 5

Sara did a wonderful job of having a nice mix of talking (telling a joke here and there and introducing the band) and singing her hits. We were at the Christmas show, which was really nice. She did half hits and half Christmas show. The Christmas song she sang were amazing. I would definitely recommend her to anyone who wants to hear a fabulous voice.

  • Better Live than Recorded

by TucsonSaraFan on 12/11/09Desert Diamond Casino - TucsonRating: 5 out of 5

I was expecting good, but this was great. After replacing the batteries in her microphone after the third song, her voice jumped to new levels I'd never heard before. Couple that with the spirtual Christmas songs and Sara sounded amazing. I also never knew she had such stage presence. Wow.

  • Sara Evans is an amazing singer

by Wadesipod on 12/11/09Desert Diamond Casino - TucsonRating: 5 out of 5

This is the first time i have seen sara in concert and it was amazing. She is doing her Christmas tour, where she plays her hits and then the 2nd half of her concert, she sings christmas music. I stayed for both and was worth it! She has a great sense of humor and can get very touching when speaking of her special life stories. I had great seats and wathcing her live was just as good as her music in a CD. Highly recommended Artist. Go Sara!

  • Pure, Passionate and Beautiful!

by PERFECTLY on 12/8/09Chukchansi Gold Resort and Casino - CoarsegoldRating: 5 out of 5

Sara was outstanding! She could sing all night and ensure the song, music and, passion are sharing feelings and experiences of her interself. Not to mention, what a beauty! There is something about those red sparkling pants! Lastly, Sara shared moments of her life, and is a celeb that carries nothing bad in her past like some celeb's do. Sara is the real thing!

Her voice was unbelievable!! She put on a great concert and took time to talk with the crowd and get personal. It was a small and personal venue.

  • She was amazing, venue was not

by Budgiebreeder on 12/5/09Chukchansi Gold Resort and Casino - CoarsegoldRating: 4 out of 5

We really enjoyed the show with Sara - she is terrific. Unfortunately, the event centere had the chairs so close together that people were uncomfortable and it was very cold. But again, she and her group were family friendly, and great. A wonderful Christmas performance. We would go again, but at a different place.

  • Sara is great!

by wickedwitch8 on 12/5/09Chukchansi Gold Resort and Casino - CoarsegoldRating: 5 out of 5

Sara has a truly amazing voice and was a joy to see and hear. We did miss hearing the song 'Low'. We also thought the chairs could have been a little further apart as it was crowded.

  • What A Voice!

    by Lenville2 on 12/5/09Snoqualmie Casino-Ballroom - SnoqualmieRating: 4 out of 5

Sara has one of the most powerful voices I have ever heard in person. She sounds just as good as her CD's. She also has a great sense of humor. She makes you laugh. A very enjoyable evening.

  • Great talent -- but short playlist for solo tour

    by Maluhia on 11/29/09Snoqualmie Casino-Ballroom - SnoqualmieRating: 4 out of 5

This concert marked my 7th time seeing Sara Evans in the past 5 years! She has a unique sound with great vocal ranges, enhanced by three of her siblings singing back-up vocals in her live shows. I continue to be impressed by her talent and never regret attending her shows. Even my husband, who does not like county music, enjoys attending Sara Evans concerts. With that said, when I've seen Sara before, she is usually one of several performers and her 90 minute show makes sense when embedded amongst other performers. However, her Celebrate the Season show (with her as the only performer) was not any longer than the others I've seen. I would have really liked the second part of the performance (the holiday tunes) to be doubled in length..... Perhaps the short set was due to her obvious baby bump and limited energy with her fourth pregnancy??? [Not yet announced, but she's alluded to having news she can not yet share on her recent webisodes. . . I think the ballgown for the holiday portion helps announce the news!]

  • Hot Country

    by CaptCPike on 11/29/09Snoqualmie Casino-Ballroom - SnoqualmieRating: 4 out of 5

Very nice show by Sara again who continues to sing powerful and wonderful songs. Great cast of musicians behind her. Stage set up at Casino is limited and if you are seated in Sections C or A your view is blocked by the big screens on the side of the stage. Would have been nice if it was a little longer (that's what she said). Still, we had a great time and Sara is genuine and so beautiful. Thanks Sara.

  • Great music but.........................

    by 1steve on 11/29/09Snoqualmie Casino-Ballroom - SnoqualmieRating: 3 out of 5

Loved Sharra and her music ! What a great singer and what a beautiful woman. It was a pleasant surprize to see she is funny also. My two complaints were the seats were too close togther. I had to sit with my shoulders folded in so as not to bother the person next to me. The last one was that I felt that if I had a welders googles on that the stage lights would not of bothered me soo much. Way to bright for the audience that is sitting in the dark.
