About

Celebrated country vocalist Sara Evans returned to the airwaves in 2013 with "Slow Me Down," the bombastic lead single from her highly anticipated seventh studio album. As great as her voice is on record, it's her live concerts that let her showcase what a pure and versatile storyteller she truly is. Ticket buyers are sure to be floored by her vocals, with a dynamic range that can go from angelic softness to full-voiced belts effortlessly, all done with an emotional heft that reaches into your soul and holds on until the very last note. Every tour she's unleashed has been a vocal tour de force that has to be heard to be believed. Her upcoming album, due in the first quarter of 2014, is sure to be another classic Sara Evans' journey through life and love and finds her reuniting with superstar Vince Gill, who sang with Sara on her first country number one hit, "No Place That Far."

A country sensation since her debut album in 1997, Sara Evans has kept listeners enthralled with her continuous release of quality material and award-winning performances. Her classic "Born to Fly" became her second number one single, and was responsible for Sara's first major award win at the 2001 Country Music Association Awards, where she was the most nominated artist of the evening. Her biggest song to date came thirteen years into her illustrious career with "A Little Bit Stronger," becoming Sara's first platinum-certified single. Time and time again, Sara Evans proves that a timeless vocalist with personal stories to tell will always find an audience to connect with.

  • Sara Evans: A Masterclass in Country Music and Connection

by Lucrecia on 9/11/25L'Auberge Casino & Hotel Baton Rouge - Baton RougeRating: 5 out of 5

On a night where music met magic, Sara Evans delivered a performance that was nothing short of extraordinary. Blending timeless hits with heartfelt storytelling, she reminded everyone in the crowd why she remains one of the most respected and beloved voices in country music. From the very first note, Sara’s vocal brilliance was undeniable. Her voice—rich, powerful, and emotionally charged—soared effortlessly through fan favorites like "Born to Fly"and "A Little Bit Stronger,"sending chills through the audience. Each song was performed with precision and passion, showcasing not only her technical excellence but also her deep emotional connection to the music. But what truly set this show apart wasn’t just the music—it was Sara’s remarkable ability to connect with her audience. Between songs, she spoke with honesty, warmth, and humor, creating a sense of intimacy that made even the largest venue feel like a living room concert. Whether she was sharing a personal story or expressing gratitude to her longtime fans, her authenticity shone through in every word. The crowd hung on to every moment—singing along, laughing, and even shedding a tear or two. It’s rare to see an artist of her caliber who remains so grounded, gracious, and relatable. Sara didn’t just perform for the audience—she performed with them. That mutual energy created a magical atmosphere that’s hard to put into words. Her band was stellar, delivering tight, dynamic arrangements that elevated every song without ever overshadowing the star at center stage. And in quieter moments—like her stripped-down, acoustic version of "No Place That Far"—Sara proved that even with nothing but a guitar and her voice, she can absolutely captivate a room. By the end of the night, it was clear: Sara Evans is more than a country music icon—she’s a storyteller, an artist, and a truly exceptional human being. Her talent is world-class, but it’s her heart, humility, and ability to make every fan feel seen and appreciated that truly make her unforgettable. A breathtaking performance from one of the greatest voices in country music. If you ever have the chance to see Sara Evans live—don’t think twice.

  • Less Band, More Voice

by Not Over Joyed on 9/9/25L'Auberge Casino & Hotel Baton Rouge - Baton RougeRating: 3 out of 5

The music was way too loud & over powered her voice. When the music pulled back & you could really hear her sing, then it was beautiful.

  • Must see show!

by Randall B on 9/8/25L'Auberge Casino & Hotel Baton Rouge - Baton RougeRating: 5 out of 5

Sara performed all her hits and a few covers, excellent! Her cover of Patsy Cline's, She got you, was show stopping! Her vocals are spot on and I loved her crowd interaction. Very glad I was able to see her show finally.

  • Sara Evans in BTR

by Dave G on 9/8/25L'Auberge Casino & Hotel Baton Rouge - Baton RougeRating: 4 out of 5

Show was great with lots of energy. Only negative was something was not right with the settings on Sara's microphone. It had too much treble and was too loud. Her great voice did not shine through.

Sara puts on a great show. Very engaging with the audience, also was very genuine at the meet and greet. Highly recommend, I saw her last Dec and would not hesitate to see her again. Love the smaller venues, feels more inviting.

  • Simply the Best!

by KERK on 5/17/25Birchmere - AlexandriaRating: 5 out of 5

This was our 3rd or 4th time seeing Sara in concert. She gets better every time and her voice was amazing! We also got the Meet & Greet upgrade, which was so worth it. I would be unfair if I didn’t mention how talented her band is. The backup singers were great and Jazz Davis is just beautiful! Her guitar players are so talented and worthy of watching by themselves. All in all, a fabulous concert well worth attending.
